which wormer guy who enroll for ever in the history of worms armageddon? Who made something great, or are insurmountable in the game? Or simply are famous with the fact that they are famous? :)

So many to list! Might give it a crack once I gather my thoughts about this, though KRD as our resident historian might beat me to it.
It's kind of unfair to put Kiros on the list only for being a dictator, especially since he personally only banned one person if I recall correctly. TSR was the one wielding the ban hammer on TUS and FB changed WA from a specialist league to an allround league.

I believe we already have a database of wormers that have text to their name and how they are/were relevant to the community. What we don't have is a nice list of major "global" events that effected a large (or all) portion of players I think. Some examples:
Kufner hacking W:A ranks essentially shutting down ranks as we know it.
CoLoN trying to make WormCon lol and fly everyone to the event. (was he rich?)
W:A update to have TTRR and replays.
W:As approach to be an eSport (ESL/GIGA)
That's only a fraction of what happened in W:A and I am curious to know what actually happened during 2008/09-2010/11 where I was practically gone from W:A and didn't even visit forums.

following on from anubis, major worm events for me was FB dying and Kiros and his hackers being rather bitter about it and hacking the next two worm leagues that i was admin of. AL with anubis and mini (hhc's little brother) and xtc with Veg.
There was also funny hacking of forums and accounts when CKC had Killerkonijn around who was pretty much behind all the skully hacks (a ckc god) and was then getting into hack fights with the COW uk worms like Cheechlizard and Greeno and also hacking trolls like erod. was a rather funny period around 2001?

Sounds totally appropriate considering W:As history is more interesting than our current time, though I'd not say we are "drama making", past times used to have multiple threads filled with feuds and drama left and right. Even the great Komo vs Avirex feud has died down. When avirex is not arguing in a worms forum with someone else you know W:A is practically dead. xD

How about instead of all looking back at the past, we try and keep it alive further? That's what I meant, and pity some people prefer smiting me blindly over thinking about it 2 secs.
I know that'd be very ambitious, but still.
Oh, and I wasn't referring to people in this thread when I said drama - I meant people like the recent Pronto.

Jmoberg - The best scrolls in roping ever, huge inspiration to many ropers in the era of warmers.
Link (from HoS) - One of the most laid back nicest people you'd ever meet, and extremely good at Pro Ropers, very popular and won many awards.
d0gMa - His maps are legendary.
M3ntal - The only player from WA i've met in real life and who is one of my best friends, got me hooked on BnG, taught me how to program synthesizers, good at roping and arguably the best BR player who ever existed, not to mention all his support to Team17, Deadcode and Cybershadow, also a moderator for Wnet, also, probably the only WA player i've never had an arguement with :D
KoreanRedDragon - Extremely talented at Roping and BnG, and other schemes, the best i've ever seen at writing posts and explaining things, extremely friendly and helpful to everyone and pretty sure he helped with WA testing I think.
The guy who made WheatSnooper, sorry I never learned their name, but I use it daily it's awesome!
Bloopy - Author of blamethepixel.com / Makes awesome bungee maps!
Annelid - The guy who made the silkworm with auto aim etc, also made TeamEd and a bunch of other useful stuff.
lacoste - The only person i'd consider as good as me at trick shot BnG, there were other people that were awesome but no one else was as creative, passionate and consistent.
Chicken23 - Played WA as long as I have, leader of the oldest active clan CKC and one of the best BnG players i've ever seen.
OutofOrder - Great BnG player, great roper and extremely talented at making Worms movies, also leader of cFc.
SiD - Invented Darts! :-*
wormf00d - The person I miss hanging out with most, helped me through a lot of bad times and had some of the best nights I ever had playing WA with this guy, also one of the best competitive BnG players ever, one of the very few people who actually beat me and damn good with trick shots too :)

lalo - My best friend in cFc, so many awesome times clanning and random sillyness on Ventrilo! Then he came to Scotland as a teacher for 1 year and we lived together for a year at my old house! We met some very nice girls haha :D if I remember correctly, "puta la wea wena"? I was pretty much stoned the whole time so probably didn't help to remember this lol...

That was ZoGgEr! I was just user #4 to sign up and eventually became an admin there. I did 'author' some of the pages there, but wasn't one of the ones who did a significant amount of programming.
I always liked the history of which Wormers came up with which schemes. One day I should put some of the info from my website back online.

Everyone is going to have different opinions on who is/was best at what, depending upon their own relative skill level at the time, the skill level of the person they are talking about, the era in which this familiarity was bred, other players who were also active at the time, etc. Some people have gotten better or worse with time.
