Ye it happened today, the criminal tried to steal his car, pointing him a pistol, but he was just faster than the criminal and shooted him 2 times in the head and killed him.
This guy is a very nice mate and iam happy that nothing happened to him.
the criminal who died was very known by the police and my friend has a licence to hold a gun, then i dont think he will even pass one day in jail cos that, i hope so.
just a crazy hystory from real life :-X

Ye man =/ well lots of cars are stolen here everyday but rarely someone kill the criminal.
I must say iam proud of my friend cos criminals dont give u another chance and at least he could defend himself and what he worked hard to buy for good.

I dont know for sure yet, maybe he will have to see the judge for that, but hes home and will w8 for it being free, and from what police said, it will be np, cos the criminal was known by police and peoples who saw it already gave their depoiment to police saying he killed to defend himself.

well if he were going to jail for that, whats the point to have a licence for a gun? maybe in ur countries they dont give licence for own a gun for citizen, then ye he would be in trouble cos even defending himself would be a crime he own a gun and stuff.

the criminal came to the windows of car pointed him the gun and said get out of car, he opened door of car and left, when criminal sitted and started to drive, bum, bum, headshoot.
I think it will be like in USA, i doubt someone there would go to jail for doing same thing.

i just phoned him and asked how this REALLY happened , he told me right after the man sitted on chair he pointed him the pistol and said him to stop and surrender, but the criminal tried to shoot him too, but he was faster and shoot 1st.
rok i undestand what u mean , but kind of human like this imo just serves to be 7 metres below earth

If that's the case, then it really was self-defense. But in his situation, pulling out the gun really increased his own chances of dying, no way is a car worth that much.

IDK how is the shit in your countries/cities, but I'll be scared as f@#! man! How you know that criminal wasn't with a mate looking the situation hided there... from a distance, behind a car, I don't know... specially if it's a well know criminal as you say, now his mates could take revenge on your friend :s or even his friends, his family, his house... damnit! Maybe I'm gettin' old or something xD but seruiosly, it's very possible what I'm talking about. I have a friend who almost died some years ago, due a similar situation, nowaday he is living in Uruguay, far far away from here. He fought with a friend vs. 2 criminals, with knifes, they both were cut in their faces, one lost an eye. The criminals were in the hospital when his house was labeled with spray paint at the next day when all happened.

Rok I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not with your comment directed at me, but it seems like you are.
What if that criminal was drunk and got away with the car and ran over and killed some little innocent children? The criminal should not be stealing in the 1st place, let alone pull out a gun on someone, if I was nino's friend I possibly would have done the same thing if someone pulled a gun on me and my life was at risk, however, that doesn't change the fact that nino's friend killed someone, and will have to accept any consequences such as possible jailtime, and I would accept the same punishment if that's the way it went, i'd rather do time and still be alive, than die in cold blood from some low-life criminal who will probably continue to kill other innocent people and ruin lifes.
As for "It's sad that a car is worth more than a human life." I agree with you there.

I think that all of us here on TuS should get a friend or family member involved with the tus forums so that if someone gets in this situation, but the criminal actually pulls the trigger on him, then we will be informed of this by this friend or family member so that we're not kept in the dark! What if one of us died and no-one ever knew :o I wonder if that's happened?

Well not really Rok, maybe it doesn't seem that way to you, but in this situation in my opinion the good guy prevailed over evil, and I like hearing when good people defeat bad, that's just me.

talked to him again today, he said that he keps remembering of how all happened all the time, but peoples told him it is normal, he will be thinking of it for a long time and will never forget of course, he also told me that will have to be judged and stuff for this but zilian justice will take years and a lawer told him to relax cos all is in his favor, criminal was known by justice, he has a licence to own a gun and peoples who saw as it happened will talk in his favor.
and today i was in my car with opened window cos smoking xD and a crazy friend of me came with his moto and screamed come on get oou of car, as if were steal it lol, my fist reasson was look at his hand i didnot see any gun then i got mine so quick haha then he screamed HEY NINOOOOO it is Joao, i was like huahuaa dont joke like this mannnn, roberto just killed a criminal days ago in this same way, he was WHAAAAAT, i said ye, it is true then i stoped my car for a bit and explained him what happened lol, this is funny maybe but after this i was like wtf, passed a time thinking about this, and now iam in doubt if i should bring my gun with me all the time or just let it for a really needed case, cos ye my car has an ensure and it is ok to have it stolen inteasted of die, but what if the criminal kill me too, so it is better try to defend yourself too = / .

If he already took your car and wanted to go away, do not shoot his head while he's running away cause he might have had a fake gun that cannot shoot any bullets at all...
edit: and U even have insurance on that car.. .

yep ramone but we have many cases of peoples who were just leaving the car, and got killed by the criminal cos he thought the person would do something back, so u r never safe.
