It's having another crisis :-[
All started about 4 or 5 days ago. It crashed all of a sudden while surfing the web.
Not a big deal cause that happens sometimes, but this time it wouldn't turn back on.
Well actually it did, but within a tenth of a second it would turn off again.. judging by the sounds.
Next morning it would go a little bit further before crashing again. Later that day it managed to get to desktop and all seemed to run fairly fine.
The day after that I think a crash on first start up. Ran fine after that. Yesterday started up well straight away.
Late at night though: screen froze, had no option but to turn it off .. restarted, same issue as 5 days ago: on/off/on/off/on/off >:(
The errors that I have received were: one time I got 'BAD POOL CALLER', second time I got 'MEMORY MANAGEMENT'.
I let it do the chkdsk /f on C: and it fixed some, but the issue remains.
Lastly, lately I'm getting 'flashes' when I play video games, little horizontal white stripes flashing through the animation. Might not be related.
Anyway, sounds like a problem with the RAM? Would you say it's something physical?

i actually was browsing for a new one at the time you posted that xD

To see if it's the RAM, run MemTest86 (https://www.memtest86.com/) for a few hours.

Normie desktop from lenovo? Normal would be laptop from lenovo, not a desktop.
If you use same PSU, problem is that. Probably died.
If it's completely new PC with same problem as last one, only logical explanation would be something is happening with electrical installation in your house :/
Adnan, we have a case over here..
-
Good modern power supplies have all kinds of protection features. Either it's NOT a good modern power supply, or your home wiring is seriously borked, or really bad luck.
-
Try using the PC in a different room/house to verify if it's not some weird electrical wiring issue of the room/house.
-
bl ae.
dont lose time with shits!!
buy another house and move on! :D :D
-
it could be the power... but dunno. I've tried moving to a different room, but no difference.
Gonna check in another room tonight. Ty for the help. Power shits is something that was on my mind.
-
do u have a no break? or buy one fr test? hmm might be a good idea i dunno.

RAM maybe, or maybe check capacitors on motherboard/GPU? They might have got a rust.

Lmao, stop buying broken PCs from the fraud shop. :D
No idea on this one....
P.S. Xan, also help please.
Edit: Also, as Sensei said there would be a problem in electricity. So, better get a stablizer for CPU.
-
I checked the contacts in the wall, it's doing normal 220v. Can't be the problem I think :-[
Today old PC works again lol. Arrr.
-
Invite a priest :D :D
-
Sending it back to the shop for repair.. This is gonna suck..

So, did they fix it? What was the problem?
-
they applied shock therapy and just put it back in factory state.
Works fine now.
It was either me installing several programs at the same time causing windows to crash in the first place ór the power issue (I now use a UPS just to be sure).
-
Windows 10? explains everything, this shit brokes when u install their official updates... wtf is this?
i have my pc like 9 years already, windows 7, sure its gpu is out of date but i dont play new shitty games and i dont have any probmes, despite the fact my graphics card died couple weeks ago but i changed it and everything is fine again.
Btw do u clean ur pc? coz i had similar problems when my pc was filled with dust
-
what do you take me for? a woman?
no, I don't.
Fan looked normal though, just a wee bit of dust.
-
Sry man, i didint realize u only vacuum coke into ur nostrils. When i saw inside of my pc after couple of years not cleaning, i started to do it everytime i clean my floor
