If u have not smoked it please do not give an opinion as your opinion will be invalid due to the fact what you here about dmt you will not beleive unless you have tryed it.

I've done dmt, its f@#!ing rediculous. Never was incredible, it was more overwhelming than anything. The high was almost too much. Ditto on salvia, im convinced you cant remain standing after taking a big rip of that stuff. id smoke it in the woods when i was 13, and then fall over lol. For some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to do it again and again. Stupid high only lasts like a minute though. Glad I don't smoke either of these anymore, they are too potent for me.
When i did it, it too seemed very overwhelming/scary but yet incredibly beautiful i felt as if i knew all and had met/become "the devine". I am considering doing dmt and going to write or draw more pictures to remember more of my experience.
I found this to be a life changing experience for the fact that I was always much of a sceptic in the area of aliens,god,religion ect. But you know the old saying "seeing is beleiving" I dont believe I have been into another dimention , I know i have been into another dimention.

a salvia experience: talking to a guy sitting in my room on a chair (i forgot who it was) about something really f@#!ing important (forgot it also..).
later i realized it was just an empty chair..
dmt is hard to get where i come from :/

anyway i heard about expierences like u said, i`ve also experienced pretty common things but on other wacky stuff (pretty weaker prolly), i wish to try dmt and ayahuasca someday but dunno if ready for it :P my head is pretty bizarre already hehe ;d

I wanna try some salvia, dmt etc, but under the right circumstances. If you respect the herb (literally bow down to the herb and ask for protection and enlightenment) then you can have very life enhancing experiences!

your very right this is not a recreational drug and if you take it for "shits n giggles" you are likely to have an unpleasant experience. If you give it your full attention and try and learn from it, it can be very powerful.
But is not always easy no matter what headspace you are in its pretty much impossible to be prepared for what you are going to experience.
At the peak of my trip I felt as though I seen the entire universe as pure engery in its rawest form and that the entire universe was connected as one huge mass of energy. this gave me the feeling ive seen the answers to the universe and that this was "god" or what i felt it was properly called was "the divine". upon seeing/feeling this I had a sudden thought "if this is it, this is all, where do i fit in??" and then instantly I to become a peice of pure raw energy and like a super strong magnent I stuck to the rest of all the energy and became "it" "the one" "the divine". At this point I knew/understanded all that there was to know. this filled me with huge amounts of every feeling possible, total happyness , Pure Bliss! joy, wonder , relief excitement, but at the very same time I knew that i'd seen it all and that the mystery was over and there was no more to know/experience and thats as good as you can possible feel so I was overwhelmed Sadness, Pain and suffering, fear and a huge emptyness inside me.

Ah finally I'm back with new PC. :)
I've had the priviledge to have companionship with these substances, scary as anything you could ever imagine, but it "free's" you after some time. We shouldn't confuse enlightment here because even though you see things you never thought possible, it still doesn't make you realize your true nature. Shouldn't forget that, it's an important lesson I've learned.
If you want to get everything out of what Ayahuasca can offer, I'd advise to do it in the Amazon and drink it atleast 3-4 ceremonies so you know the healing benefits also.
Astral projection is easily learned and probably the "easiest" way to get to different dimensions.
