Title: UK or Spanish person for Poker help for a friend.

An old worms friend Ronaldinho who is french is looking for a UK or Spanish guy to set up a poker account on poker stars .com for him so he can play poker. Since France have a new law on gambling French players can only play on poker stars .fr and the government take money from each pot.

If anyone wants to be of any help you can talk to him by msn -> ronaldinho .guaucho @ free .fr

ive added him 2 my msn wiz, ill sort it tomorrow for him when im back from seeing the daughter if this is ok? should be bout 3-6pm our time?

Is he aware that he needs to play on a VPN? As a British person playing in France, I know for a fact you can't just play from a French IP, even if you used a foreign bank account to set up your poker account. He probably is, but just making sure he doesn't go through the trouble of getting a poker account set up and then finds he is not able to play...

Also, the rake on the sngs at .fr is not bad. They are probably also softer than on .com (though I haven't played there for years). I moved here to play cash games on a global site but had VPN lag issues and couldn't be f@#!ed to shop around for another, so I succumbed and ended up grinding sngs on .fr  :-[

Lol, France too are getting f@#!ed up laws.. In Norway you cant use VISA to deposit to international bookmakers ;P But they fixed it so easy, haha, just a added a 2nd bank.. Stupid government! I remember Ronaldinho, he was a cute guy, please say hello from me Wiz.

It might. It might also result in the confiscation of his bankroll, too :p Using a proxy is a pretty bad idea apparently. I don't understand exactly what it is or why it is not recommended, but make sure to do some research...

ye make sure to do some research, i really didnot realise about the bank stuff, so ye if he use a public proxy , tell him to forget the security ;P
