Planes, Trans and Automobiles is one of my favourit classics, then for newer movies, Swing Vote is just brilliant, RED was awesome I think, love Kung Fu Panda (even though it's an animation, but still). Jackass movies, I laughed my tits off on those, R.I.P. Ryan Dunn. :(

Sucker Punch was probably one of the worst movies I have seen in a long while, other than the hot chicks, I cannot possibly imagine what you could have enjoyed in that.

i enjoyed a bit bit brainf@#! + some funny fights. but i dont got high expections on sucker punch. its just a really cool trash movie. thats why i enjoyed it. dunno about random ;)

Some favs that afaik werent posted yet:
1) good will hunting (the only robin williams movie I know that doesn't make me want to shoot myself in the face lol)
2) fight club (peja suggested this for the manboobs, I liked)
3) Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter (english: Generation War). Best ww2 mini-series, not the usual american hero-bullshit or the überdepressing holocaust tales. I was afraid it would be a tad moralistic at first, but the ending is confusing enough to make the whole thing interesting also from this point of view. Memorable scenes.
4) Hitchcock movies.
5) MacBeth (Polanski) + Romeo & Juliet (Zefferelli) :)

Came out same year as cult movie "The Warriors". Remained in shadows cause of that. Similar plot, gangs and their wars, one of the best soundtracks ever.. + lot of subliminal msgs (especially the ending). Actually, I'm glad this movie never reached mainstream.. Imo, 2x better than Warriors. Judge it yourself.

It's ok, it's too bad they mostly have kids stuff or super hero movies and all that shit, but the series are nice and theres always 1 or 2 good movies on it. Downloading offers more possibilities, but netflix is far easier to use (no dl times, no websites full of ads and streamable on PS/chromecast.)

I am a movie junkie, with favorites going back to the 60's, but my favorite overall:
Amélie
It has a fantastic score, the cinematography and use of color is perfect, the story is cute and awkward and uplifting, the main character (Tautou) is a babe, it has a wonderful, happy ending that will make you feel good, etc.
I can think of tons of great films, but this one takes the cake.
I also love films by directors such as David Lynch, Roman Pulanski, Gregg Araki, Woody Allen, Gaspar Noe, Richard Linklater, Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Tim Burton, John Hughes, Luc Besson, Andrei Tarkovsky, James Cameron, etc.
