Maybe i am idiot then am posting this but lets try.
Yesterday when i was drunk and playing roper with Free i just creat simply idea, but am not sure if we could do this modification in sheme.
My first idea is : 2 crates are landing in each turn in roper, each with 10 hp.
Rule: CBA - player need to catch at least 1 crate and then he can atack.
i dont wanan writing more, coz u dont need to be Einstain to know then this would be solve problem with crate raping.

My secound idea is : 2 worms per team, each worms have 100 hp, and game have WORM MOVEMENT
this eliminating crate luck for sure, gameplay seems to be good, without any bugs, clear rope skill + tactick, coz worms change force u to thinking more !!

u can try to make some new version of roper but i dont think it can replace the old one
this scheme is over 10 years old as it is, and i presonally dont see any point to change it

yes i can and i wanna do it in league
if u say about luckless, lets change t17 so there are only nanas and aquas in boxes
i mean thats the real beauty of roper dude... u never know what may happen
sometimes u are like 1 attack to win but u get crate raped but sometimes u can fail and think: o f@#! i lost and then ur opponent get crate raped and u still can win

2 worms is not a new idea... about the first, it looks interesting to me, but I guess it requires RubberWorm?

watched the clanner replay.
The way I see things is that roping become quite easier with this scheme.
If you put one worms each side you'll almost never be crate raped but you'll also almost never have an hard crate. It's like hiding on top of the map.
To be honest, I back up redi here. I'd rather see more people playing aerial, inter... than changing existing scheme :)

U watched allready idea with 2 worms.
Now i got sheme with 2 crates.
Changes: - 2 crates x 10 hp instead of 1x 20 hp
-hot-seats 10 sec instead of 5.
WATCH THE REPLAY:
clear game + a bit more tactical things + no more crate raping !

funny :) but it makes the game easier, maybe add a rule: mine is allowed only if you collected both crates :D

i agree with redi, this is the essence of roper, forget it, it wont go foward.

we can remove mines and leave only zooks and nade, should be harder !

it was just propose.......... and not nades, just only mines coz its easy to put them.
Try to read first and then make a reply next time.

magic, it's not about removing something from original roper scheme, but it's always good to have alternatives :)

I liked roper with (CBA or W2W) before attack rule mostly from you ideas, but this one was also not bad ;D
Keep it up Berria, it's good to have news in a 10+ years old game :D
