no, but if deano can get w:a to work properly on his mac, he may come back from some clanners with us here and there.
-
nino, that site is from 09... think the virtual box thing will work with the new patch??
anyone else have any suggestions?
-
well avi, i tryed with VMware fusion and happened same thing that this guy says in this site, imo it is more a limite of hardware since virtual machines uses a lot of processor and memory ram. then i dunno the model of deano's mac since hes the puto queen it must be a macbook pro, tell him to give a try with virtualbox. also he can make a dualboot in his mac with bootcamp then it would run of course on windows xp.
avi. virtual box and VMware is a program what emulate other system..then it will run windows xp . got it?
-
yes nino, i understand what virtual box is from the start.. its an emulator, no shit.... im not retarded, dont treat me like i am u f@#!ing puto huahauha
but... deano does not want to emulate windows forever, only to play w:a.. he hates windows... he once broke up with a girl because she had a PC. huahau
-
lmfao. well i think that to run WA he needs to run in windows, tell this mofo to install virtualbox and give a try.
btw i wont be helping anymore cos it is for deano, f@#! deano.
joke xD
-
sure, he will let u f@#! himm... but u have to wait for him to get his eye brow waxing, and ass waxed.. then ok, u can f@#! away!! hauhauha

i play with mac, and the only way is install Windows with bootcamp... all virtual machines suck... maybe offline work not bad..but online yu have always some problems... i have tried a lot of ways before install windows with bootcamp... If yu install windows yu could sleep happy rofl...
-
ye with bootcamp it sure works cos windows will run direct on HD.
i didnot try tho cos leopard own and deano is puto lol
-
whats the ppoint of having a mac, if ur goin to install windows on it?
-
ye no point avi, but with bootcamp u can do a dualboot but anyway, i preffer just mac os
-
what do u mean dual boot? like... when he turns on his mac, if he wants to play w:a he can boot onto windows platform? otherwise he can boot onto standard mac platform??
ok this he may be interested... let me tell him about this..
italiano, can u give me direct link to DL bootcamp? ty :-*
-
ye avi dualboot is when u turn on pc u choose which system do u want to run..then he could run both np. or even triple boot linux, windows and mac os .
btw deano is puto lol
-
bootcamp is on yr mac, yu haven't to download it... applications/utility/assistent bootcamp... then yu choice a partition to install windows for w:a, maybe 10 giga... after yu have installed windows yu ll install w:a...
When yu want play wa yu have to start windows... that's all.
ok?
-
Anyone know if this still works? I'm pretty keen to buy a MacBook Pro.
-
ye still working.
-
Thanks! :D
-
never heard of Wine (http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX/Installing)?
-
That looks to confusing for my brain at the moment :-X

whatever, compared to the other propositions in this thread, not really so...
and this is the only way to run WA on mac without emulation.
You can also find the ready builds of Wine for mac on the internet, but make sure that they aren't lower than 1.2.1 for WA to work properly.

I am thinking about buying a Mac for university because of the editing software I can get on it... I'm learning Mac based software for my major - electronic media production. The problem with my high-end laptop is the gfx card is too new and WA uses an obsolete method of buffering images...? (barman told me this or something). I'm hoping since Macs aren't for gaming that I won't have the "too new" gfx card issue? Any thoughts on this from anyone?

I have Mac and I play worms with a partition on windows bootcamp. It's the only way, I mean... if you want the best performance, specially for fluidity of the game etc... And it's good, because when you want to play you have to restart yr computer so, you won't be distract by the worms' temptation xD
