Title: Project X menu issues. Any help?
Post by: Kaiba on June 03, 2019, 01:46 AM
Project X has HORRIBLE menu issues, for me. For one, it'll run at 9 FPS WITHOUT windowed mode on. Now, before you ask why I have windowed mode disabled, let me list out some things that are causing the issue.

Extreme lag in the menus.
Slow mouse.
Extremely long loading times, and I mean extremely long. It's almost unplayable due to the menu lag.

Now, allow me to get to the windowed mode issues. Windowed mode works PERFECTLY fine in the menus! Everything is great! Except..
The fact that once a game is drawn/ended, the game just DISAPPEARS! Hello..?  :-X

I've tested this on all 4 of my devices and the same result. It'll still be "open" technically and the game sound will still play, but the window just goes invisible. I can't continue, and I'll have to use task manager to close the application. What.. in the world? All I want to do is play Project X. I hope somebody can assist me with this, and I've tried asking multiple people with no help. It would be an honor for a response to this issue.

Tried that a while ago. It's still acting extremely stuttery in the menus. Gameplay is just fine, though.

I assume you've tried the "slow frontend workaround" option in advanced settings.. so I'm out of ideas. I use Windows 7, so no experience troubleshooting these problems. You should ask StepS.

Maybe he installed a virus, or worse: Windows 10.
