Title: Game start time idea.
Post by: Impossible on December 09, 2011, 04:00 AM
Im just thinking, every file have a date of creating, for replays this value is same with time, when the game started. So maybe if tus engine can read logs, maps, schemes from replay, could it also read the time, date of creating the file. So it will solve the problem I see usualy. That stuff as example: "We  played this game 1 week ago, and he reported it just now, move it pls!", could it just move automatically to needed time, if tus really can read file properties.
edit:
Or just use date from name of replay, its much more easy to import, but also easy to cheat it :d

It is also not a big problem to change the create date of a file ;) The actual game start date is stored inside a replay (Export Log -> see first row). But I think it can be changed too :D

yea but who would change anyway? what if they knew they'd get warned/banned for getting caught? it wouldn't be hard to get caught anyway

Changing order of games manually isn't a big deal. However make it automatically - even not considering those replays which gets manually edited - will put a pressure on the server. When reporting many things gets processed. If it gets automatically, system will have to switch orders more often which will middle with many stuff.
