Title: scheme avoiding
Post by: Prankster on November 22, 2011, 03:36 PM
I couldn't find a rule about this in the leagues basic rules:

Quote[2011-11-22 14.38.12] ••• Player joined: Boro`fUB
[2011-11-22 14.38.12] ••• Validated connection: 0, 1, Boro`fUB
[2011-11-22 14.38.16] [Boro`fUB] hi
[2011-11-22 14.38.17] [Boro`fUB] cyan pls
[2011-11-22 14.38.45] [Boro`fUB] no bng pls
[2011-11-22 14.38.55] [Boro`fUB] i hate bng is boring
[2011-11-22 14.39.34] [Boro`fUB] i dont play
[2011-11-22 14.39.37] [Boro`fUB] is boring
[2011-11-22 14.39.38] [nW`Pranksta`b2b] free win?
[2011-11-22 14.39.38] [Boro`fUB] bb
[2011-11-22 14.39.42] [Boro`fUB] nah
[2011-11-22 14.39.43] [Boro`fUB] cya
[2011-11-22 14.39.45] [nW`Pranksta`b2b] man lol
[2011-11-22 14.39.50] [nW`Pranksta`b2b] u just cant do that
[2011-11-22 14.39.53] ••• Connection closed: 0, 1
[2011-11-22 14.39.53] ••• Player parted or was kicked: Boro`fUB

Later he also called me noob in #AG..
There should be a rule about what to do in such situations, I thought one can only complain about the map or the scheme settings, not the scheme itself. People shouldn't avoid any scheme in the league they play.
I apologize if there is a rule, I must have missed it.

just don't pick bng!   nahh joke :D
well if you haven't played his pick yet, then there's nothing to do,just look for other opponent :D some players play tus classic, only to play certain schemes.
or they don't play certain schemes (boro's case)
there is nothing to do about that imo  :-[

If NOT = Fu. That's the life.

:D Thats true.

The rule is (as far as I know), if he won't play your pick you get a freewin, especially with such a bad and childish behaviour from that noob.

But it is sad too, that the most people are too nooby and lamer and avoid whole leagues :P

Thank you, I guess we can end the discussion now, we all got our very intelligent answer.

it happaned to me too (my clan exactly). We wanted to pick bng, we like it and it was probably most point getting scheme. When our opponents saw what we are going to pick just left our host and started to play with other clan. Really, really lame.

It was Prankster, not me, who opened the thread. Your vision of us crying is childish. We have an issue which Prankster brought up, we are having a discussion about it. If you don't have anything to add, just don't waste your time reading and posting.

He never suggested that you opened the thread... and i think  he meant crying as in complaining not physical tears running down anyones face... but anyway... bng rules!

Dear Anus, this is an issue that bothers me, and some other players, as you see.
Funny, how you don't care about it, but rise your head from phlegm to comment how pathetic the thread is.

callin angus a anus is like calling komo a homo ;)

anyway your right here its annoying. on the other hand just ignore boro the next time when he does his tus stalking.
if you make a rule you force people to do something they dont want. dunno if this is the best way. the current way seems best imo. you get your win if you already played his/her pick and otherwise the game just dont happens.

Nah, when I played with Angus for the first time, he introduced me as Anus, so it's not the same. ;)

MI could just add a button on free win report like

  • avoider.

then the player would lose like 3x more points, than playing.

since these putos cares so much for points maybe this could help xD.
If avoiders of schemes cared about points, they wouldn't be avoiding those schemes, would they? :)

So many problems on TUS could be avoided if people could just agree on things before the first game is started

24.11 16:36: feeezao`ea> It does not matter
24.11 16:36: Fu`NoCry> so, we wont play ^^

depends on what they will get back, for avoiding, maybe just losing the point he would lose anyway if playing is worth avoidng.. but  3x times peoples would think a bit more... a seasson ban even more... a bullet in the head, this person would never avoid again  :D

Not necessarily... i remember that some south american asked for tus on ag once, so i said yes, then asked him for his tus name as he was aliasing (he thought that everyone would avoid him if he didn't lol...) and he didn't want to tell me, so i said i wouldn't play him if he didn't tell me his real name, as i needed to analyze and stuff. It ended up with him insulting and making fun out of me as if i was avoiding him. :)

That said, would be rly nice if people (NinjaCamel and Camper come to my mind atm, also RoperZ) could use their tus nicks on #ag too coz its really lame if you don't know who you're playing/in which clan you are.
