This game doesn't need any more updates at this point, it needs more players, more activity, and a bigger community ^.- I see many newcomer hungarian newbies joining #AG every day but they don't stay for too long.
I have invited plenty of newbies to this site, and it's too complicated and complex for them. They take a short look for a short time, and then they leave. The scheme varities are too complicated for them as well. :P Still, I think sites like this are a much better platform to gather fresh players than discord servers, that's what WA would need right now. More fresh meat, and probably a registration system for wormnet. And a proper site, which gathers players and newbies.

I was here in 2005-2007, these were years that I remember as pretty morbid and static. I used to play 2vs2 Forts all days since there was not "much to do" and I didn't feel the sense of any significant community back then.
2013-2018 were years of old veterans taking over the community, bashing newcomers for "noob moves" like 4 sec granades in BnG or for playing the schemes that they enjoy the most.
2021-2022 are good years, I'm happy to be here. My dreams will come true once I see Worm Olympics, I talk to many people from WO 2016, and there are numerous people missing it as well.

because these are the best years for you for me its years with not even a Tel league anymore .. no elite players arround !!
most of the people i knew stopped playen and in the years u act like they was bad i had my best worms times !!
u totally forget about the presure of Tel league each month ! players like Almog spoonhead ^^ senator of corse he is still playen nice
and me fought and many many more there were a boy and a girl wich were a couple i think the names of em would come back to me lales or sumthen
and daina !!! yes of corse and so much more i could write about endlessly
i loved those times im sad u think it was bad times

Hmm that's unfortunate. It has gone a year since I heard anything, so I thought it was time to ask around.
As I gathered by Deadcode, update 3.9 shouldn't be far off, and that the only entity that stands in its release is Team17, and their potential slow ability to cooperate.
