Hi all! I used to play this game pretty hardcore back in 1999 to 2005. I was apart of a few clans back then but my last and my home is WwA. Anyone remember them? I was playing with DeeJay last night and it was fun to talk and remember about players that I remember having crazy intense propers and cl2k's with. Am I allowed to say cl2k? If anyone remembers me and wants to play a game, just holler. Or just to have an "old school" discussion.
I haven't played this game in like 7 years. Wow, do I feel old..

Welcome back to W:A, varial! I don't think we ever played back in the day. I was never much of a roper, I tended to stick with RR. Not sure how much you've found out about the things that have happened around here, but as far as W:A updates are concerned, this (http://wormtube.worms2d.info/81/wa_beta_showdown) is a nice summary.
And then there's the Worms Knowledge Base (http://worms2d.info/Main_Page) which has some history and such of different sites and all that :)

I sure do remember that clan fondly, I was in it way back in the day, it's been 14-15 years since I played but just kinda started again for nostalgias sake. The only person I can remember was Wizerd. I watched a youtube video just recently that someone made of a bunch of rope tricks that a lot of us actually invented and named, fun times :)

99% of rope tricks were invented on w2...
only thing w:a invented for rope tricks were combinations of multiple tricks... and branded it with a silly name ;p

Dub-C feels the same way.. im dont feel as strongly as him, where i think 2 space's is cheating, and all of nlF are ridiculous fools...
but w2 is my roots... theres alot of history there, and w:a thinks they invented things, its crazy to me that w:a wants to claim they invented anything to do with roping, yet they still use 25 second turns time in roper :D
but yeah, i know.. i mention worm2 alot :D i think MI is on to something actually....
w2 should be easy to DL it, and the server is still up, and running.... maybe we should all make the switch?:D
for the record: i nver said i hate wwp.. i said it was a cool game, but it had a silly/childish interface that turned me off quickly ;p

lol.. good point worms in general is a pretty silly childish game...
but, wwp interface turned it up a notch, imo
