50 hp is the maximum for a normal-power grenade.
bet cause of fall dmg otherwise its a sitter m8
The fall damage is not applied the first time the worm hits the land after an explosion.

Exploded worm have to touch a side of a pixel to get fall damage. No touch - no FD.

Not only can you get 50 damage from a grenade with no fall damage, but you can also get 30 from a dying worm. The only way is for the explosion to be perfectly aligned to the 1/65536 pixel in both directions; if it's off by just one subpixel, it'll be 49 instead of 50 (or 29 instead of 30). If it's exact damage then there will be no blast (the worm hit by the explosion will simply fall like it walked off a ledge). And the grenade/worm needs to be inside the worm being attacked, even to get 49 or 29.

yeah right
though even a slightly-over-standart-boundary damage can piss off any human opponents you may be playing against

That was awesome Deadcode - I watched it probably 50 times. Great presentation. Even with your various tools that must take a while to get right!

yeah nice, the grave case is ok but as the worm hit by nade wents down he takes fall dmg ( head in ground and poing out of it again) so it wasnt the nade creating 50dmg or am i wrong ?

guess the 46 nade was fall dmg too but impossible to view , cause of speed and pixel

I thought that at first too vesuvio, but that 50 damage is all from the nade. The red worm didn't hit the side of the tube on his fall, therefore no fall damage. That drop could have been 10000 pixels and he'd still only get 50 dmg. It's a bit counter-intuitive but that's how it works.

I have dropped a worm from 3000 pixels and get 85 HP of FD. No ts it was. I guess since max speed is reached, the FD will be maximum possible and doesnt matter how much have you travelled, 400, 1000, 3000 or 30000 or whatever.

I do it in game vs kory  , 12:00 min . 50 dmg and 49 for my worm :D

I do it
No you didn't, that's just fall damage activating due to worms not yet entering idle animation. Is not related to achieving the hit into the center of the worm, the grenade wasn't even close to it.

00:00:22 same situation with a bit more fly height resulting in 60+ damage, and then 00:00:44 where I waited for recover animation to stop

That's pretty cool WTF.

What would be your success rate with that in real games? Just a rough guess?

Is it easy for you or,

Ok, but he did drop a nade, nade fell on worm and then Vojske's worm fell onto the opponent worm, thus, nade fell into it.

Fell into what, again? What are you even talking about?
