This is a thread about Weed Snooper, which is currently being developed by Kawoosh. There's an upcoming major update (beta release), which should happen shortly.
13 Sept 2013 Update: Hey guys, Kawoosh has declared his wish to continue improving Weed Snooper soon, but only at condition that the current buggy beta is released. Thefore, here it is: download (http://myfiles.my1.ru/wa/other/weedsnooper.zip). Unpack the Weedsnooper folder into any good place and launch. Configure nickname and stuff in the "Options" button, top left.
Whats new? Info from posts in this thread:
Please note that this version may be unstable or have glitches. For now, use it only for test purposes. In particular, a skins overhaul using a newer system will happen in the next update. It would resolve a few glitches and improve the overall look, as well as possibly give more customizability. This release is done as a proof of interests and intentions to do the update, and mainly serves as a motivation for its further development. Thank you.

Tried it still wont host. It says: Failed to start W:A + Wormkit. Check that you have administrator priviledges, and that all DLLs are in place.
It host's fine with W:A.exe.

This problem was caused by losed sight of possible running with other startup folder in wormkit... I fixed it already... But why you using wormkit.exe? It's obsolete and sucks...

First of all, not wormnat, but WormNET. Second, Wheat Snooper doesn't have a real WormNET layout, it just uses a gradient, scrollbars, and that's all. Weed Snooper uses the true layout, fonts and gradient from W:A. If you look in WA, you will see that the gradient is only used in background, and not everywhere. All other window zones use the same static colour. But maybe it will be later possible to make the window zones transparent. But hey, if you don't like the hard Kawoosh's work, why do you even bother leaving a message in this thread? We are not forcing everyone to use this snooper. It is mostly made to move the asses of ProSnooper's users.

I would test the new sn00per too if it start making sense. Of course it is hard work and I'm thankful for hard work, dont get me wrong.
There's no reason to worry about the planned cool things, we remember them.
Okay, sounds nice, thank you! I'm looking forward for the WA-Sn00per then. If the new snooper has the original WA design, WA-Sn00per would be the best name. everyboody could find the new snooper then in the internet if using a search engine (http://ecosia.org/) and type the most logic text: wa snooper

You are able to use them. Weed Snooper uses WormKitDS (http://worms2d.info/WormKitDS).

There was only a small update of the "Options" menu (don't worry, the server's address will be inside too) in the main tab (link is always the same) Kawoosh is currently working on WA's skin (it's still unfull) and PMs.

Well the skin itself is good I think, I'd do some minor changes, but it's good as it is I'd say. The important part in my opinion would be minimizing to tray and notifications on private messages.

I was experiencing ProSnooper2-like problems, like lagging out and not showing messages, but not getting any notification about it.

Hint: Mine's supposed to be the fully red one, not the Slovenian one.
Edit: Also, I guess you're using the e-mail IRC client field to store the clan tag... but as I see in that first screenshot, it doesn't work for a lot of people, me included. Flattered as I may be that a clan called KRD exists, I'm not actually in it, hah.

Hm, everything is ok I think, people who don't have flags, obviously don't have them ;D What's wrong? As about fully red flag, it isn't a real country flag, and the priority here is at the country code, but there can be an exclusion if you wish. :) (however as Kawoosh is hating you, I'm not sure that it will happen, lol) You can also write "??" instead of "SI" to force showing the flag number. Btw, Weed Snooper allows you to write the RAW irc info string ("Full name" like in mIRC), and to show it in the list.

in order for your custom email name to be accessible by others, the wormnet password must not have a whitespace at the end. As for "Username", we can also do a list of "clan tags" to be hidden.
this week it should be published (possibly tomorrow or even today)
Skins will be able to be turned off, to either blank plain window or the Pseudo-WA style from the 0.0.1.14 beta (from the screenshots (http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/3224/weed2b.png)).
Also, improved pings. Not only the Game ID check verification has been done, but also now you can see which game is fully filled with players (full-room), and which are passworded (but appear as unpassworded in the list). This will now ensure the 100% quality of all the hosts you are about to join. And of course, it can show the hosts which were removed from the wormnet list (due to timeout, for example), but still available to be joined.
Private chats are now possible both on channel and in the separate tab/window. I'd point out to the newcomers that it's always possible to make a tab to be a window, or a window to be a tab (tabs system).
I'd also like to mention the perfect hosting ability of this snooper. Unlike wheat snooper, Weed Snooper can host on any server, with the possibility of WormNAT2, changing the flag, name, address for the host, and even (for the server owners) the proxy server for WormNAT2. It also allows full control on your host, you can close it anytime (in the future versions it will be able to reopen the closed lobbys directly from WA without rehosting). It also gets and uses the dynamic IP automatically, if your IP is dynamic (changing from time to time).
It's also worth mentioning that Weed Snooper doesn't do /who all the time like Wheat does. It adds players to the list gently as of them by join-part messages (the method WA uses also), which is additionally faster and eating an extremely low amount of traffic.

this is a known error, which happened after something was changed on the Wormnet server. (or something else, I dunno, I think it was the same version where the bug started occuring). this error also prevents you from using a custom IP address when hosting. as I said the release is done as is, from 2012 without changes, I was forced to do the release. the reason is because Kawoosh didnt set up a SDK yet which takes lots of time to configure. do not report bugs for it yet, they are all known.
