Title: Writing coloured text in game room
Post by: felekfelek on March 17, 2019, 10:29 PM
I play this game 10+ years and I thought I saw everything, but yesterday guy wrote in game room 'mole time' with every letter in different colour.

I checked Worms Armageddon\User\Logs\ directory but all I saw was

[2019-03-17 10.33.02] <Thanatonaut> \pm\go\rl\ye \bt\gi\pm\ye \r!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know how to repeat it?

It was not during game, but in the game room (where players enter your room but before game starts).

I think you can only write coloured text in private messages, and only in the pregame lobby. And you can't see the colours yourself, only the recipient can.

So he wrote /msg felekfelek \pm\go\rl\ye \bt\gi\pm\ye \r!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You used to be able to do the same thing in the general lobbies (#AnythingGoes, etc) but that seems to have been changed. You could even write "/msg #AnythingGoes \pm\go\rl\ye \bt\gi\pm\ye \r!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" to send that coloured message to everyone in the channel.

I also just found out, 2 days ago, that with rubberworm you're able to write /h2so4 in chat and make water change colors throughout whole game.

All these years thought only commands are /colormod and /arrows. :D

/h2so4 is not a RubberWorm feature, it's a built-in easter egg in the game.
/h2o will pause the changes at the current color.

Quoteis not a RubberWorm feature
Hello!
I'll try to find out here too. Returning to chat commands...which the user mentioned at the beginning of the topic likes to use
Why is there such an unpleasant possibility that someone can write all sorts of nasty things in the chat on my behalf, how is this possible, Why can't this feature be disabled? extra lines not relevant to the case have been removed.

This has been in the game since I remember. They do enough spaces to bring the cursor to the next line, then write as another user.
