ESL: Formation of the list of schemes. Submit your options!

(1/5) > >>

SIBASA:
I encourage everyone to suggest schemes in this thread that you would like to see played in the ESL league.

The only restriction will be that you cannot offer schemes that already exist in the official TUS leagues (Allround and Free League), because ESL is primarily intended to promote more experimental schemes, newer or less popular.

All proposed options will be formed into a constantly growing list, which will be further put up for voting before each new season.

Echiko:
Blast Zone
Fort Architects
:)

h3oCharles:
i will keep pestering about this scheme https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-2137/

Kradie:
Here is my list of schemes I personally made (Yes FoxHound, I am sure they bare resemblance of past schemes).

Roper Reversed. Attack Before Crate. This rule can be confusing at first but it ''can'' be fun once you get the hang of it.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-1788/

Wall 2 Break W2B. Touch available walls, open and block paths to new ones and get crate before attack. Can be a mess but it was also made for v3.7.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-1938/

Lucky Strike. Random Worms Rotation. Worm name are your weapons to use. Csongi is bag fan of this one.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-2779/

Active Strike. Worm name is your weapon to use, you can use select worm anytime without cancelling your turn.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3484/

TeleShopper. Rules are on scheme page. Basically teleport to crates, and attack from last crate only.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3817/

Spider-ZaR. CBA and AFR. Batty is on and zero retreat. Worm placement and timing of attack is crucial.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-4116/

Girder Shopper. Girder Before Attack, CBA, AFR and KTL.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-4002/

Chaos Collect. Collect up to 30 Crates and win.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-4125/

Super Collect. Collect up to 100 crates and win.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-4130/

Speed Mole. A variation and inspired version of Mole. No Rules.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-4207/

Board Shopper. A Shopper where player must attack from weapon symbole.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-4232/

Zone Shopper. A shopper where player must attack from a marked zone, normally red.

The following replay is from girder shopper.

Lupastic:
I'd like to suggest multiple schemes:

-Supersheeper or Aquasheeper
I always wondered why there is Supersheep Race among the TUS free league schemes while supersheeper is not :) People always liked to host this scheme on #AG, it's a frequently hosted scheme and as I saw, no one really played too often SSR for TUS.
https://worms2d.info/Supersheeper
A supersheeper cup on TUS: https://www.tus-wa.com/cups/cup-1140/

-Teleport Shopper
It's a very skill required strategic scheme, played on normal size shopper maps. I used to think it's better played with only 1 shot after taking a crate, but basically everyone always preferred the multiple shooting way, and so do I now.
https://www.tus-wa.com/cups/cup-1154/
Foxhound says Teleport Shopper is a copy/very similar idea to https://worms2d.info/Teleporting but not sure, I don't think so, not really familiar with that one :) But people liked our Teleport Shopper cup.

-Kaos Shopper (supermarket shopper)
https://www.tus-wa.com/cups/cup-1128/
Also a very exciting, fast paced, skill requiring scheme. No idea how it didn't get more popular.

-Jetpack Shopper
https://www.tus-wa.com/cups/cup-1148/
This scheme is perfect for players who never got to master the ninja rope but they like to fun around in Shopper with jetpacks. If 2 skilled players face each other, it's still a very tactical mode.

-Surf Shopper
https://www.tus-wa.com/cups/cup-1156/
A great shopper variant.

-Fly Shopper
https://worms2d.info/Shopper#Fly_Shopper
Same.

-Driver
https://worms2d.info/Driver
This scheme would have deserved to be as popular as Boom Race was/is, it's even more difficult and requires quicker thinking than BR. The idea is that unlike Boom Race you have 2 worms here, Worm 1 and Worm 2, and the aim is that Worm 1 needs to hit, shoot, etc Worm 2 from start all the way to finish. You can move only with Worm 1. I always loved this scheme
https://www.tus-wa.com/challenges/challenge-774/
Korydex hosted a Driver TUS challenge some time ago, I think Gabriel's and my submitted replays are a perfect example how hard and tense this scheme can be.
The name pick "Driver" is very unfortunate for this scheme in my opinion, we could give another name to it. It should be: "Hit me baby one more time" HMBOMT scheme! or maybe "Duo Race" would be just fine :D It can be played on any Boom Race maps.

-Wormopoly
This is surely the smartest and most creative idea that WA received in the past years, it needs fixing and rules need to be made clear in order to play it in a league.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-4081/

-Rowy
If we were to play this in league, rules need to be clarified and how to properly punish cow situations - which can happen very often.
https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-946/

-Russian Roulette
https://worms2d.info/Russian_Roulette
This could be played in bo3 format and hard maps shouldn't be used otherwise some matches could take hours to finish :D Or maybe Sudden Death should be implemented in this.

-One of Everything
https://worms2d.info/One_of_Everything
One thing I never liked about this scheme is that it has 1 ammo of invisibility, 2 smart players will just go invi the first turn and then the whole match goes into a "never-ending-hide-and-seek-battle-until-the-SD-flod-hits-us-all-and-we-come-out-of-our-invi-hides-and-start-attacking-each-other-the-last-moment" I think the main core of this nice scheme dies with the invisibility being in the game (: But still, good material for a league
