The thing is that ' horizontal girder straight on a worm's head ' gives the same effect as the ones You use. So I'm pretty we should not focus how bent such a girder is, if it results in lame play anyway. And in Marian's case he had no choice but to teleport somewhere higher.
If he had to teleport somewhere everytime u block like that, then always the player generated on a higher platform will be the winner. And that leads to ulitmate lame play in Holy War, deprived of any throwing skill ;/ Please check my 1st game of Me + Phanton in the final. We blocked our stairs but not the direct platforms on which the enemy stood
