It's time to try out something new. We will have new leagues to see who's the best in rope schemes and who's the best in default schemes. Classic league will be disabled for now.
Default league: Elite (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-7/), Team17 (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-1040/), Hysteria (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-16/), BnG (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-992/), Intermediate (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-10/)
Rope league: Roper (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3/), TTRR (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-4/), WxW (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-8/), Shopper (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-488/), Big RR (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-154/)
If you ask "TUS default anyone", you play 2 schemes from the default league. And if you ask "TUS rope anyone", you play 2 schemes from the rope league.
We will have also allround playoffs every 3 months so the change is not that drastic. When you play a default scheme, the game is counted in both default league and allround league. The same with rope schemes.
Each rope & default season is 2 months and each allround season is 3 months. Each rope/default/allround season is followed by playoffs.
Playoff requirements:
Singles
Default league: 40 games
Rope league: 40 games
Allround league: 90 games
Clanner
Default league: 20 games
Rope league: 20 games
Allround league: 60 games
The first seasons are more or less experimental and we may need to make some adjustments to the system.

Will people still be able to ask for a certain scheme despite the league has been splitted? Lol
Imo it's a bad idea, league was already like this before splitting...

I sure as hell am not the only person who doesn't like this move.
The fact there wasn't a vote is a slap in the face.
If they wanted to find the best they would have included other schemes as well, I'm disappointed in the lack of schemes for each special league.
And shopper isn't even a fkn scheme where rope skills are most valuable...

I like the fact they are actually doing something about it, respect for that.
I just don't like the sudden change without a vote, or proper categorizing of schemes.
Aerial / Abnormal should be added to default, Shopper shouldn't be in either of them imo but it definitely is more of a default scheme than rope.
I'd also add Darts / Wascar / ZaR Roper to Rope based schemes.
^^ But that's just me.

Y'all are too hardcore (what else is new?). This is an excellent division of schemes. Focusing just on the most widely known schemes should help with participation (among those who aren't stuck up, that is). Also, roping skills ABSOLUTELY make a difference in Shopper. I'm ever so sorry that it's just a little too easy for the keyboard modding crowd...

Of course rope skill is useful but shopper is more based on knowledge of weapons and memorizing hides.

You can still look for an allround match if you like and then pick schemes from both default/rope like before (in clanners this is pretty much a necessity). Allround league is like Classic league with two additional schemes.
Shopper in Rope league is questionable but it might attract newcomers who usually start roping with Shopper. I think there are many players who have played mostly Shopper and sometimes WxW / Big RR. Shopper is only 1 of 5 schemes so it doesn't bring anyone the rope league title..

Not quite - a "TUS Intermediate League" would do that. Personally I would've preferred a "TUS Normal League" where you have a range of pure normal schemes, e.g. Elite, Pro, Inter, Classic, Blast Zone, and possibly some of the ones that come with the game, e.g. Armageddon, Sudden Sinking.
I'm concerned many of the ONL/CWT players will be put off by the idea of being pressurized into playing BnG, t17, and hysteria...

@Senator - Newcomers won't become hooked based on what schemes are available, they will get hooked based on how much fun they have with the already established community and how well they are treated, which sadly, isn't very promising to be honest.
The worst thing about this website/community is when people gang up on other people, that, racism and general poor/childish behavior makes us look like a bad bunch of people to hang out with, do you think anyones parents who actually love their kids, reading this website would let them hang out and play here?
@Lagnan - I'm mostly angry that there was no vote, it's a forced change we didn't get to influence properly.

why is it that each and every time there is any kind of change suggest that you dont like, or made... you make empty promises to leave TUS and never return, or never play again... or "i was just thinking about playing tus again in *looks at watch* 2 minutes.. but now... NOPE!"

avirex if each and everytime there was a change suggested that I didn't like, and I actually would quit TUS because of this, i'd have quit more than 100 times probably.
And I never said leave TUS, I said done with Leagues, did you even notice that?

This website is more than just TUS Classic and playing League games.

That's cuz you focus more on negativity, I've been more satisfied and excited with TUS way more than the opposite.
It's like at work, boss ignores the 99 good things you do, but goes crazy about the 1 bad thing you did, that's you.
I'm constantly doing and saying nice things, helping people with anything I can, but those are things you don't care about so you don't notice lol. L :)

I can happily announce that i acquired the skill to simply skip the long posts of avi and komo, because mainly they just fight each other and usually they write the same thing in every post but longer and longer and much more longer. I would suggest you to separate the content of your posts into two parts using the so called "tl;dr" concept.

Yes. It's possible to add new schemes such as Bungee Shopper or Wascar.
