So many 3:0 results, I didn't expect that.
Dub, follow my advice: turn off your PC, give W:A a break just as long as you don't play your next EAC opponent. Don't come to the forums, don't play TUS, don't do anything related to these things. Then totally clean up the room where you play, open the windows, the shutters, whatever, you can even go on and do that to your whole appartement.
Go out, forget the whole thing, but DO NOT DRINK, that f@#!s it up. :D Then the next time you play, should be the EAC game, play with headphones, that really helps to focus and keep everything around you as clean as possible. I find myself playing twice better after doing this. :)

Yea, she was the favourite, but she made a crucial mistake in the first game and both in the third game, in the first one, it costed her the game, in the second one, a 100 worm and I think I made less mistakes.

Small update on the site's look: the top menu and the left menubar are now fixed, so even if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you still see the navigation. It's just a little functionality issue we had in mind.

Personal Warning System
If you make troubles in a matchday or missing specific dates without any word, you risk to get a personal warn! Also when you are not fair enough to play all games from a matchday until the end by giving up before. This is not how an Eliter works! We have a bunch of very fair and active players which dont fear to catch up their opponents as fast as possible. But we also have some "chicken" in our championship. We dont tolerate being lame and sneaky and try to make the games close to the deadline.
You did confirm to the hard rules by joining EAC 2012. So you have to do your very best to make each matchup possible!
Matchday #4 was horrible. Sure, we had some absences cause of holidays. No offense there, Guaton and NinjaCamel are doing a good job by playing all games in shorter time. Also their opponents are doing good. But there are some matchups which we dont like to see. And here it is..

We have a lot of problems with games between guys from a different time zone. This is way obvious since common people having to work weekdays, in some case weekends too. So for a next EAC, there is only one good solution against it.
But at first, the graph which shows the problem good enough:

Just split into two groups would solve this problem. About the system after those group games played, there we have several possibilities, one showed now. For 2013 it could be look like this:

Names are just names, esp. last two on america list, just to fill out the spots. :)
I'm sure a system like that would cause a lot less problems by get some games done. Worker vs Worker is a big problem as the first screen shows. There is no possible time weekdays. And when the weekend is kind of busy, we have a problem by making it before the deadline.
Thats just a little resumé after half a way of EAC 2012. ;)

Yep franz, this is significant. Random00 is doing it better with some 3-1 and 3-2 games. But thats not on purpose, obviously. But the higher your rank, the bigger handicap you have. This counts for last places too, btw. :P

Tough program for Crash! He has to play against 4 opponents from the top 6! Random00 and franz having only half of it. Matchday #15 with Random00 vs Crash and matchday #16 with franz vs Crash will be the next highlights for reaching the big pot. Everything is possible and I'm looking forward to these final battles. :)

SPW, I think splitting the players into groups would kill the whole "everyone play against everyone" spirit of EAC, which makes it so damn great in my opinion.
We had a little talk with Random about this long before the event even started and we agreed that for next year, we would implement a small app to the website that would make this whole process very very easy.
The idea is simple: before a week starts, you log in to the site and simply fill out a little timetable for the next week. All you have to do, is simply click on the times and fill out the whole table with "Free" "Busy" or "Unknown". A rule should force you to do this, say, until Friday midnight, else you get some sort of a warning, punishment, whatever.
Then, when both you and your opponent are done with this, the app automatically creates a timetable, maybe with some fancy colors and whatnot. :D It would basically show us the same table that you made with "Europeans versus Americans", but personalized to both users. Whereever there is a green time, that means both players are free at that time that week.
Your schedule can of course differ each week, that is why you would have to do this every week.
After that, you select one of the green times, by that, you suggest that date to be the final, and when your opponent accepts that, the time and date is fixed and it appears on the Schedule page.
This is the rough idea, this would make it very easy to fix the times, could add a few different things if necessary, like a points system that would measure how active and willing someone is to fix their dates, some sort of a system like that, and when you play against your opponent, the player with the higher points has the right, ability, to suggest the date first. Basically, that would make the less active or "interested" player having to adjust to the other. This is just another idea I had now, don't know if it would make any sense.
Well, the wireframes of the idea was said, we have got like a year to implement it and perfect it for next year's page, I think it could work perfectly and is a much much better system than this forum thread thing.

It's wins->loss->ratio franz. Almog has a 28 ratio, you have 27, Random 20 etc. This type of model is used in most major sports in the European countries. Ratio is more valued then head to head. In case of the same ratio, head to head will decide.
Did you play Worms during history lessons at high school franz? :P

If not clear enough to verify every ranking spot (f.E. 3 players having same total points in the end), we do decide what happens then. It could come out to a (three)-way-final with bo"?" matches or we are throwing a dice. Personally, I would prefer outplaying it. But I hope we dont have such a situation in the end. ;)
Two guys with same total points is easy and gives 100% a winner.

C.O.P.S. is a point system with an overall scan from each matchday. It includes activity and spirit, behaviour, taking games serious, insulting opponents, default losses, fairplay bonus, skill by rank, prediction game activity, forum activity and some more. The higher the better and it works like an indicator for future ea events.
SPW I appreciate all that you have done for eac and its been an awesome way to end my worming, however, your C.O.P.S system is a f@#!ing repulsive joke. How could I possibly have a lower rating then someone who has been warned? As someone who has never been late for a game (other then medical reasons) be rated lower then people who continuously have troubles getting games arranged and played? Say I want to come back and play in the eac next year, am I once again going to be jerked around by you for no apparent reason? This is really frustrating a has been bothering me. Your distaste for me for no apparent reason is really getting old.

C.O.P.S. is just an indicator but when you worry that much about it (your current score is okay so far for following events), I can calculate your points again. Maybe there was a situation, which I judged different back to July/August than now.
I just see in my table, that you lost points at round #4 and #7. Last 12 rounds you got maximum points for each matchday.
Take it easy Dub. You know I dont like harsh comments and no-thinking posts so maybe better think twice before doing some action. You lost some points with your behaviour, still at the first half of EAC. Maybe we forget about things happening 3-4 month ago. But my table got updated every single round and didnt forget it.
If you want me to calculate your points again, just ask for it. I can do it on the upcoming weekend but not earlier.

If you are going to make bullshit lists, you should be prepared to back them up or just not make them. Don't mind my harsh tone, I just don't mend my words.
Perhaps rethink your reasons for deducting so many points (20?). And if you don't want your list to be complete bullshit maybe think about taking some points away from your friends who missed dates and had troubles arranging games.
#4 I am not going to address out of respect for Guaton and not wanting to rehash old feelings. Perhaps you were unaware of the entire situation.
#7 Only in your bizarro world does the person who shows up on time lose points and not the one who completely missed the date without giving notice. Maybe it is a language barrier situation but telling someone to not waste your time and give notice when you show up for a meeting, is not a bad thing to say. Its well accepted in Canada, and I would think in many other places, if someone says to meet me here at this time and the person doesn't show up or give notice, that they will be told to not waste there time in the future. He apologized, shit happens. We moved on without any problems. Why you, or anyone else, took offense to what I said leaves me bewildered.
