That's it guys, the second trailer for GTA V has been released and it's a brilliant trailer revealing the voices of all 3 protagonists, as well as an insight into their daily lives. After a bunch of screenshots, this is what we can come on with:
Los Santos will be five times the size of Red Dead Redemption (although not every preview is on the same about this one)
Los Santos will have a huge downtown district, a gang district and a huge country side
Radio stations will be available ( of course ). A song that was heard during the demo was ‘Radar Love’ from the oldest band on the planet: Golden Earring
The satire of the American society will include subjects like "Hollywood, the porn industry, weed smuggling, homeless people, a bankrupt government.
You will be able to go anywhere you want to go on the map from the start. So no restrictions.
With scuba gear you will be able to visit underwater caves.
If you complete a mission your outcome will be heard on the local newsradio.
Though you can’t buy any houses, there will be enough fun toys to spend your money on.
Trevor, Michael and Franklin each have their own set of skills.
Countryside is huge. There will be a desert a deserted local area and of course a mountain that is fully accessible.

lol maybe I should start using my real nickname so that more known faces would join my host xD nah for real man wormnet is only about hysterias and rubber games nowadays :( Last time I got kicked from a TTRR because these newschoolers wanted to play with Antisink and I didn't have rubberworm...
They have to make new versions because the graphics and techonology are obviously not the same from 10 years ago, but it's still the same game! And we still play W:A cause it's been updated and the next versions have all failed!
pizzasheet is right, worms and gta are immortal games in some way. Both are legends but they cannot be compared though, this is not what I wanted this thread to be turned in :P
Personally I've been playing Gta and Worms since they came out. These two games are the only ones I played mainly on my gaming experience. The thing is that GTA never had Multiplayer until Gta IV, while W:A always had. And I think MP is what gets you hooked to a game.
I guess W:A v4.0 will make a lot of old players come back but then again let's keep this subject for other thread :D

gta ftw! i have to say vice city was my fav, but all the others rock and i'm sure 5 will rock too. anyway comparing to w:a makes not much sense imo, cause the games are completely different.

Hey wormerz, here's a little update about GTA V
First of all, I'm so excited about Rockstar finally answering a few questions about GTA V, as well as showing some screenshots. Regardless of how little info they're giving us fans and how often we receive said info, I think it'll be well worth it. We'll be guaranteed 100% accurate information with Rockstar's method. IMO, quality > quantity.

I stopped playing at San Andreas, but still can't stop the excitement for a new GTA game, this one looks like an HD San Andreas and should be much better than 4 (which was a big let down imo).

I know where you're coming from NaiL. I'll quote my thoughts about it. I was interviewed for a GTA Magazine, "MultiplayerMonitor", here a couple of Q&A:

I don't even own a PS3, ive only played it at friends houses so ofc I haven't played it enough to make an un bias comparison. Im sure the multiplayer is extremely fun and very addictive, by the looks of things ill be buying a ps3 for V if it lives up to the hype, mountains, bikes and planes ftw!

R* can gtfo until they confirm the pc release date, or better yet, how many months will they delay it for. Can they optimize it properly (like they did with max payne3? [horrible, horrible game btw]) or will it be yet another crappy port performance-wise. Those eye candies will mean nothing on console. (hint: check out 'real life' mods for gtaIV)

I sold my ps3 half a year ago before I moved to Ireland and now I have a 360 elite, (though it's been months since I last touched it) However I'm a sony fan and I plan on getting a ps3 soon.
Imo xbox needs renovation, ps3 does not. I don't really see the need to create a new console, since the ps3 is powerful enough to this date.
Actually most game developers still haven't taken advantage of all the power this console can offer, not to mention there haven't been too many games out that support 1080p. Also most games were designed for the xbox and then ported to the ps3.
I personally am not getting a ps4 right after its release which is going to be f@#!ing expensive.

i wasnt talking about graphics, im aware thats better. im talking about the party system, and network. i like playing online with people, and the party system on psn network is terrible, beyond awful even. If you don't play online with people than it is no problem, but if you are like me, i value online play so i got an xbox 360. i dont notice much of a graphics change between the two, at least not enough to make a difference in my choice. If sony fixes their damn network ill buy a ps4 for sure, but they havent even made simple changes or patches.

ah gotcha Walrus. Well, I guess there's no accounting for taste. The multiplayer part is what I value most in a game as well. It's just that I got used to the ps3 system. For instance, you can plug an usb keyboard and mouse into the ps3. Although you can't obviously use it for games (not sure if there's already a hack for it, ask Steps for such competencies :D) - it's suitable for everything else. It's quite useful when it comes to typing; registering, signing in, browsing in the ps.store, chatting without having to use the mic... You know, I don't feel like actually talking to ppl who I dont know on the headset all the time. Also, bluetooth headsets are available for the ps whereas the 360 lacks bt interface.
I reckon the 360s got a better service for the party mode, worth the money thankfully... however I'm still inclined to think that the ps3 wins this one since it pretty much does the same job at a better price. To each his own;)

I dont like the graphics, especially grass and faces. beyond two souls is good example how rendering of the faces should be (http://sonyps4.ru/images/2012/11/BEYOND_COVER.jpg)
and now this (http://media.rockstargames.com/rockstargames/img/global/news/upload/actual_1364388007.jpg) its rather comix or cartoon than photorealistic graphics grass is just nine-way fan model, such technologies were used on doom 20 years ago, on background there is electrostation absolutely without anti-aliasing, texture on box looks in size like under 64x64 pixels huh but well if you take a look you can see there is no anisotropic filtering on road at all, I think its screenshots from real footage on ps3 so I hope it will be much better on pc before they release it

When I'm playing I don't care about graphics too, for me analyzing graphics is something like hobby, that's mostly cuz I was game developer myself By the way if you take a look at screens from original GTA iv you can notice that graphics looks gray, without bright colors, it's because of special filter, making everything gray, (its make it looks real) but on eflc, ballad of gay Tony mostly it seems to be deleted. On screens from GTA v there is no filters at all, and this make it look like a cartoon

thanks for all the updates impo. i think im going to make this the first day 1 purchase of a game in years. looks like it will be worth the wait, finally giving me what i want. i wasnt so much of a fan of GTA 4 as I was San Andreas because of the variable terrain and wide variety of drivable vehicles. looks like there is going to be a lot of San Andreas-like sandbox design in this installment.

Yup, this is exactly like me, and I presume a lot of gamers. I never really cared about gtaIV, it was fun, sure, but in the long run it felt like something was missing. From the trailer it seems like Micheal is a Vice City tribute, Franklin - San Andreas and Trevor is something fresh to add to the pot.
All you had to do was follow the damn train, CJ.

San Andreas was my favorite also.
It was the customization I'm sure.
For me, the next logical step in the GTA franchise would be to incorporate RPG (at least westernized) systems deeply into the game.
Elaborate on the customization seen San Andreas, clothing, body form, etc, and extend it to other things such as, leveling up weapons, driving, car mechanical skills, stealth, burglary, brawling, whatever, allowing for different game styles* and the unlocking of new features (a high car mechanic skill would allow you to mod your car with better gear progressively, for instance) giving the feeling of progress and goal.
*allowing the player to choose how he wants to complete the game, by force, by driving skill by drug dealing or by charm.

of course PC version is planned, but R* wont confirm this info before 17th september so all you read was absolute speculation, Im also 100% sure it will take more than just a few months, around 5 or 6 imo. btw I saw an ad somewhere about rockstar leeds looking for graphics expert with force me to the conclusion they gonna start working on port since they also ported l.a. noire on pc

I installed Saints Row 3 (never heard of this game before), and it is much more fun than gta4 :D crazy ****. I hope gta5 will be more impressive than 4th, like vice city or SA :)

yes but there will soon be a gaikai service, so all PS3 games would be possible to be played on ps4. anyway it was a pretty stupid move and probably only to give the last breath to the dying ps3/xbox360 generation... An innovative game that places them into hardware restrictions of 2005, wow... self punishment I guess. But actually no, it's lots of profit, so they don't care.

where you guys at the moment? Im staying at 95,xx %, have to do the freaky monsterjumps, knife flights and under the bridge side missions. I hate it... you crash (die), waking up in the emergency and pick up your plane / cars / bikes again and go back to that last spot. It always costs you a lot of time even when you take a cab to your hangar.
Especially the knife flight missions are really hard to make.

I'm somewhere in the noob area of the game. Still need to bring up that military shit with the submarine... kinda stuck on it. I got the whole plan laid out in that redneck's cousin's appartment, but I can't really finalize the mission there. I got all the ingredients I need completed. Just need a point on the map or something to complete it :-[
I tried the online thing too, but it didn't really catch me. I did a small mission with some random dude, but as soon as we got out of the mission progress he ran after me and shot me. f@#!ing asshole >:( The races and deathmatches were also pretty much empty all the time. :(
I usually just race around some in offline. There's some really nice roads in the mountains and the river banks are nice parcours too :)

Here the same, just tested it few times but it didnt catch me too. So I prefer as you just enjoy the nice map by driving etc.
About the waste, that really suxx and the only one way is to make a hook by checking spot by spot. Im glad that I found all the pieces. But one alien thing is so stupid placed, its under the big bridge in the west. You have to reach it with a copter and its very hard.

i dont playing side missions but the story feels like its almost completed, and whats cool unlike gta IV free roaming here is quite fun

1. ElFuga He's a top notch killer, plays without a mic, and if all of the other skills were measured on a 1-100 scale, he's be 99 on all. This guy may be one of the top gta multiplayers, period. He can and will do everything, in a smart way. This guy can drive exceptionally well, but the trump card that makes him number one is the fact that I've never seen a boss move around as much as he and still be so difficult to kill. He moves himself into very good position in association with his teammates and his own safety and for their likelyhood of getting a kill when he's boss, and when he has teammates that know where to put themselves in relation to him, he is nearly unstoppable. He will play on a team with all noobs and take over a game against good players as well. Even if I take a game completely serious, this guy is just one step ahead. No wonder he gets kicked by all the noobs. I'm saying it's not because he's a cheater, because he ain't. He gets kicked by them because they can't compete with whatever team he is on like 80% of the time. It's sad that there is that much of a gap in skill, but there it is.
anyway, gta v sucked lol

Multiplayer sucked cause of all damn cheaters, creating mods which affected the online mode, glitches for rp and cash, and r* didnt stop them 100%. Also it wasnt possible to mute voice in generally, so you got always those idiot kiddies whining around straight to your dolby surround system. They promised heists but nothing came. And dont forget all those player created jobs, aweful death matches and races. I didnt play it for half a year lol.
But the story mode was awesome!

The driving is even worse than GTA3.. So arcadish and unrealistic; it doesn't require any timing. And that's enough for the game to suck, but we could go on with a bunch more cons if you want me to.

Yes. You actually had to learn how to drive there. I recall noobs complaining about how their car always flipped.
I also remember racers that prefered to race on GTA:IV than Gran Turismo or any other racing dedicated game.
R* made the correct decision though: make it arcadish. Casual gamers are those who make R* rich, not a group of hardcore players.
Still, I prefer to be bad at something that works logically, rather than being lied.
And driving is just the first thing you can note in this game, but there are lotta things that work more arcadish, i.e.: aiming and shooting guns, lol.
GTA:IV is like W:A and GTA:V is like Worms:Revolution and all those. I hope you know what I mean.

wanted to say this too, when your game is played by millions there is no other way except following casual players demands (which is like 90% of the game) otherwise there is risk to get shit on forums like it was with IV when casuals cried about boat-like physics:D
