Round1 deadline: Sunday, March 20th
Round2 deadline: Sunday, April 10th
Final deadline: Sunday, May 1st
For Clans:
Round1 deadline: Friday, April 1st

no excuses. if only one player/clan is making a lot of effort to finish playoff games, that player/clan will likely advance. if both players/clans make poor effort to finish playoff games, BOTH sides will likely get kicked out.

cFc Vs TaG - I can personally play any weekend except 19th March, I am sure rest of cFc can manage almost any weekend with at least 7 days notice.
Instead of trying to arrange a time, let's show the times we can play, and work something out?
By the way franz, are you a MOD, or are you just passionate? (That isn't a joke or a dig at you or anything btw lol)
Also, I don't think it's entirely fair to an extent to enforce people to post in THIS thread to increase their chances, if this is the case you should PM them with a link to this thread and also ask for a reply, some people don't notice this, I didn't even notice this thread until today, oddly enough seeing as forums is my 2nd home in the mornings after work lol.

Komo, you're handling under the assumption that it's our responsibility to get playoffs done. And let's face it, it's not. It's your own (unless you're not in the playoffs of course ;)).
Playoffs are a well known issue and we've started having threads for them since last summer, so more than half a year now. If you don't know we make threads about playoffs and that you should post in them, then you haven't been active in TUS in any way (or been ignoring PMs).
And if you're not active in getting your playoffs done, frankly, you don't deserve to be in them. Posting in this thread takes up less than a minute of your time. It takes only a few seconds to pull a time out of your ass to post here and arrange the playoff games for. I honestly never understood why it's such a big problem for people to do this incredibly, incredibly simple task.
It takes more time to think of excuses why the game hasn't been played yet.

I am glad franz is a MOD with this, which is why I was asking, he'd get my vote anyday :)
What I mean is I keep forgetting the dates when Playoffs start cuz I never notice end of Season/Start of next Season, but I always see the threads about 5-6 days after they are made and reply ASAP :)
:O I don't assume it is your responsiblity mate, I think I make great effort to get Cup games and Playoffs organised and played :)
However I do think it's important/crucial and very very effective the way you and your A-Team are handling Playoffs, let's face it, it should not be required, but at the moment we definately need you guys stepping in like this and I love it :)

Yeah, I was meaning to add something in that order in my post. It was more of a general statement :) Simply slipped my mind :-[
Anyway, the point of posting in this thread is that so we can actually see how hard someone is trying :) And in the case of crash v Mablak for example, it provided us something to back up why we made our decision there.
Of course PMs work as well, but I have such a huge load of PMs I get (regarding complaints, cups, playoffs, showcase and other stuff) that I have to clean out my inbox every one or 2 weeks before it gets out of hand.
Not only that: if more than one person is handling the playoffs, the PMs get sent for instance to Rok and franz doesn't get one. Franz then has to assume nothing's being done to get playoffs done, because he hasn't seen anything, while Rok clearly knows otherwise. Just an example, of course :)
It's good to have all information in one place.

Ive seen borotocollo online everyday for the last 7 days. Everytime I see him I pm him, "final game" and he doesnt respond. He is playing tus though.

Another weekend is approaching so we could push it forward a little bit. I'm sick and I stay in home for whole weekend so it isn't really a problem for me to show up so Saturday/Sunday 22GMT would fit the best in my opinion. Please try to answer this time, dC.

Borotocollo is still refusing to play the 5th game. I ask him everytime I see him and he doesnt respond. Ive been on everyday this week and so has he, he has chosen to ignore me everytime I ask. He isnt going to play it. Just now he was hosting a game, I joined and asked him to play, he said "na" then kicked me from the game.
I should be put through. Ive tried many times now, especially considering his attitude in the WxW. Disgusting attitude.

Is it possible to deactivate the "playoff participation" tag in their settings from a distance? :) Some people should not be in playoffs and it seems borotalco is one of them (I sent him a PM with the link to the post of NAiL saying he can't be found, and there's obviously been no response)

Thing is we played 4 games already but when I rope knocked one of his worms into a plop on the 4th game (wxw), he got very angry and started to insult me and my family. Check the game I attached to my post on the other page. Since that day I have asked him to play literally everyday and he has ignored me every time.

All I see if you overreacting to someone knocking. It's very common for someone to knock before collecting crates in shopper, I don't see why knocking before hitting walls is any different, though clearly a debate about that is possible.
But you chose not to enter a debate, you chose to insult NAiL, and not just once, but continually, which is disproportional to say the least.
And you know what? I sometimes get upset too by how people play but I don't go around insulting them and their family. If you don't believe me, then just check the first bungeerace cup where I had big problems with FaD.
If you want to avoid these instances, then I suggest you pick a proper map where this sort of thing isn't possible (or at least very difficult to do)

try not to restrict to only weekends this late into the deadline. Dulek, 26th/27th is the last weekend before the deadline.
if it takes staying up late on a weekday to get finished.. it can be worth it.
if you guys can still work out a weekend time, good.. but don't expect weekends to always work.

You don't have to play all games in one day. If monday is better for the ropers and tuesday is better for the eliters, then just arrange monday for a roper and tuesday for an elite :)

Maybe yes maybe no, depends if a2b Tournament is finished by then, sometimes it overlaps Midnight, but it's always finished for 1am, which is why we said yeah 1am is cool, but, this week a2b is 2on2, and March 24th is 1v1 so should finish sooner, so as far as I am concerned Midnight should be ok for me, but I will have to ask all the other cFc Members again if Midnight is ok for them.
Are you sure we can't keep the 1am meeting?
Just actually noticed a post on cFc Forums, some members can't make 00:00am so it will have to stay at 1am GMT Twy, sorry mate.

This thread is really only a last resort to keep playoffs moving. The most I can do here with this thread is to nudge players to play and make constant reminders before deadlines. I think had you put in just a little bit more effort to meet with Zippo instead of just "catching him online", this would end nicer. :) Hopefully your next playoff experience will go better.

What about this Thursday/Friday/Saturday night? We've been prepared to play any weekend and so far you agreed to this weekend, then cancelled, you can't be telling us you are all busy every single day of every single weekend, I know some people have a busy lifestyle with partners or partying etc but if you do that every single weekend then these playoffs must not be important for you to even agree on ONE night out of 4 weekends, most of us are adults and work through the week (both clans) so playing through the week is practically out of the question.
If it really has to be done, I will even swap the a2b Tournament around so I can do these games on a Thursday, that's how much I wanna get this done ! xD

Monday 20GMT? we all can but daina, she can before 1GMT from monday to friday, but that it's too late for everyone of us (in our local time its 22:00, and we all to go to university at next day, starting at that time the games could end easily at 1AM of our local time, or maybe later).
Tuesday 20GMT? same as before
Wednesday 20GMT? same
Thursday 20GMT? same
Friday 20GMT? same. Saturday 1GMT? that could be, we can finish late at night the games, but unfortunately Friday at night everyone except me and ArtiC can't (shasper and shuuki will be hang out , Sombra smoking weed and maybe drinkin wine, ArtiC playing worms, dariox don't have inet at that time, neither Janox. Well I can't too, but like Lalo, I can do an effort to play Worms in one of my few nights of the week that I spend with my gf)

I understand, and I like to believe you've been trying as hard as them, but all I can see are the posts in this thread.
As long as games get finished, you can even ignore this thread completely if you want. It's only if they don't get finished.. that a tough decision must be made to keep the playoffs moving.
Still, I'm optimistic, and it sounds like you guys will be trying to finish these on the last day. Hope it works out.

I'd just like to point out, I have mentioned I would change my sleep routine to meet during the week 5pm GMT - 9pm GMT (times have changed cuz daylight savings lol, so annoying) but no one picked up on that... Even though I can, other cFc can't really either.
