Very interesting idea. I wonder if the scheme had RubberWorm features like air viscosity the meteors would fall slower, so it could be less based on luck and more on skill just a bit, more or less like FEA (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3375/).

This scheme uses the logic of Kangaroo's Crate Race (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-1636/) (not the old Crate Race scheme by NBRxDragon that OoO used to promote). This logic of using the crate counter to know the number of crates you get as a point system is cool.

Ah, I documented the history of the idea of dodging meteors with Jet Pack here: https://worms2d.info/Flat_Earth_Apocalypse#Similar_ideas

I call armageddon objects as "meteors", because an asteroid is something very big and Comets have a "tail" and usually keep appearing regularly (Halley appears once every 75 years). I prefer to call them meteors or maybe metereorites would be an even better term, since real life worms are small and small meteors would look big for the worms scale.

Random maps work well with this scheme. Make sure that they aren't so complex though.

I attached replay of play on random generated map.
