I wanted to stop like over 10 years ago when lots of things were happening and I was just a kid, thinking I'm wasting a lot of time. But now it's pretty quiet and I'm only interested in clanners so it doesn't take a lot of time. So probably I will only stop when there are no buddies at all to play with.

To be honest, if there was something better in life to do I'd probably be doing that instead...

I'm here simply because I'm not dead yet and as soon as Drake is gone I'll probably be gone too.

Either that or I wish someone body could knock me out and reprogram my brain so I just enjoyed everything everyone else enjoys.

There is always something better in life to do. It all depends on how much meaning you add to what you do. If WA provides a lot of value and meaning in your life then by all means play it. If you think you need to Increase your odds for something else then leave your comfort zone.

If you enjoy something you should not allow 1 person in your life to stop something you love. You should ask yourself ''What made me love the game BEFORE this person Drake''

I didn't actually intend this to be a long reply but sometimes it's good to let out all my issues and steam from time to time...

Yeah, I'm not interested in having lots of money at all, I could have been a millionaire by now if that's what I wanted in life. People don't even realize just how easy it is to become a millionaire... If you aren't lucky, as in, win the lottery, have an amazing idea/invention or you're born into wealth, then you've got to spend 10-20 years earning it, but it IS pretty easy, but it comes at the cost of time and having to scrimp and save every penny possible, spend as little as possible.

To sum it up shortly, being rich has pros and cons, there are too many cons for me. I've seen too many people becoming wealthy and unhappy, sure the journey to BECOME rich can be fun, but after they get there, the world looks at them different, people look at you as a provider, someone they can use and milk dry for their own intentions. As you becoming richer and more successful, people expect more from you... You don't get to enjoy as much privacy, you have less free time to enjoy other curiosities and interests.

As far as I'm concerned the best things in life don't even cost money, and many of the other great things in life are simply controlled and overpriced by selfish idiotic morons who will probably die lying full of regret that they wasted their life chasing money and not memories/happiness.

Resources make the world go round resources are already here, on this planet, here for us to use and share freely... However other selfish retarded humans were born before us, raped, pillaged and stole their way to the top and now they run the world and we can't do anything about it because we were born too late and it's going to take an incredible invention, or catastrophic natural disaster to essentially "reset" everything so that nobody controls anything anymore.

We do not need money, all we need is trade. Money is a tool to make trading easier, that is all, but it's became corrupt by greed, perversions and insanity.

Even though I make less than minimum wage, most of you probably have less money than me, but you have families, college, university, careers, cars, houses, etc to pay off. I don't have family, barely ever go out to spend money on alcohol or parties or even holidays, buy a selection of clothes like once every 1-2 years. I buy good shoes and jackets, but everything else is cheap. The food I usually buy is cheap too.

So yeah those who accuse me of living a comfortable life, while I may have some things you lack, like a better PC/Streaming setup, I don't have a wife, kids, or career that I love and would die for.

Those are the things I would love, though I'm never short of girls to date I've never found the right girl... Most of the nice girls I've met weren't really looking for relationships were rather just looking for a temporary casual thing and they always bail when it gets too serious lol. Out of all the women who stuck around most of them try to strip your masculinity by getting you to open up and tell them your problems, then they use those problems against you in arguments...  All relationships I've had have been amazing at first but I get fed up with them trying to tell me what to do and how to live my life, and also when they start trying to use sex as a weapon against you, as in witholding it if you annoy them...

Not just to mention that but I am not exactly the most eligible bachelor lol, I'm a very VERY logical nerd with little time for emotional nonsense most people see me as too pedantic when I see them as careless and effortless because what they call "pedantic" is really just THEIR lack of interest, or even comprehension sometimes.

The point is, I'd rather be alone than date someone who plays those stupid mind games, also, I'd like to have a family but hardly ANYONE actually sticks together these days, at least in US/UK the divorce rate is scary...

When it comes to WA though, I do not regret it, also don't feel like it's a waste of time, but sure as hell sometimes wished people in this community were more logical, intellectual and put more effort into getting stuff done efficiently.

Well komo you are living the way you want and thats good enough.

If you can get money atleast to buy food and others basic stuff that every human being needs in life and feels comfortable with that, all we can say is aeeeeee.

But just remember you live in a nice country, and not for your fault, but you dont know the reality of others peoples and countries, i mean, the life might be hard for some peoples that they dont have a chooice.

Me per exemple, I live in Brazil but i always had a very confortable life maybe much better than some peoples who live in sweden per exemple, my point is, each person has his vision of world and they also knows what they want for his life and any choose is fine.

recently i also got separeted and porra at the start that sucks but also you have the oportunity to f@#! others pussies without have to be hidden like a CIA agent huahuahauhauhauha

when you live your life without hurt anyone, all kind of living is repectable.

Actually, that's pretty much the main reason why my life is full of depression, I consider myself extremely empathic and sympathetic and I'm constantly aware of all the horrible things that go on around the world. It makes it even worse that US/UK and other countries and people live such luxury while others suffer so much.

If all I cared about was myself, getting what I wanted, without considering ANYONE elses thoughts or feelings, life would be easy wouldn't it? I'm strong enough and intellectual enough to take whatever I want, though I don't like hurting people and making them feel worthless, helpless, scared, lonely etc...

I just wish there was something to contribute to that was helpful to lots of people while being part of an active, enthusiastic and creative community.

I've got no desire to make lots of money for myself because I don't personally need it, I keep giving money away and spending it as fast as it comes in specifically so I'm never wealthy and so that when nice things do happen they really feel like special treats...

The more wealth and success a person attributes, the more "normal" the expensive things start to feel, and if you ever lose that or cannot sustain it, that's when so many people resort to lies, deceit, theft, manipulation, in order to keep quenching that thirst.

So yeah, things like streaming Micro Vs Masta together with Mablak and KRD having a nice time, watching the best in the world commentating with the best in the world THAT is an experience money will never buy, and all these guys give their time, expertise and skill freely.

THAT is what keeps me here in this community, for those very rare moments, even if it feels like I'm mostly wandering in a dark forest alone, when you find those moments of moonlight, they feel magical and you never forget them.

I just wish we had more of that, more people being efficient, working together, improving their skills and creativity.

In the last 4 months alone working with Mablak he's inspired me to make tutorials, upload to YouTube more regularly, he's made thumbnails for me for the channel, I've learned from that and making my own now ... So I'm constantly learning new skills while working on this project together, I'm sure he also keeps learning and improving at the same time.

There are actually hundreds to thousands of active players in WA though most of them stay quiet, it's a bit of a pipe dream of mine to see not just small teams of 2-10 people working together on a map, or terrain etc... I'd love to see like 20-100 people at least working together on a massive project that we can all be involved in. Imagine not only how much fun it would be for all of us, but how much we could learn from each other while sharing ideas, failing together, then correcting those failures to discover new ways to create and improve things.

We could make a serious documentary about the history of the game, each scheme alone would be like an entire Summoning Salt video, let alone updates, players, leagues and other stuff.

We could rally together and maybe influence Team17 to be more interested in being an official part of the community and maybe we could have official ranks and automated matchmaking, and WA implemented into a future Worms game or something.

Imagine what we could achieve if we all had a common bond.

I learned that there will always be Inequality and that there can never be true equality. I personally never cared if somebody got inherited big junk of wealth. I never cared if somebody had a giant mansion with big TVs. Because material possession and status in life never mattered for me. What matter the most is behavior, not the material possession, not a person's belief, but how they behave and treat others.

There is little to no point in my experience to sit and cry for the starving kids in Africa, or people who are exposed for war. Because these are things that are out of my control. If I were to obsess over things that are out of my control I would be depressed. It is better to focus on what I can control and that is myself. If I can keep Improve to the best version of myself, then I could be more efficient to help others near me. But I cannot do this if I am to sit and cry for the poor misfortunate souls because it would only add up walls and fuel depression.

Having that said does not mean I do not care for the less fortunate people because I do care. But I also have to remember to live my life. Some people are just luckier than others and this is just an Irrefutable fact of life.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Speaking about building bridges here on Worms Armageddon among us Wormers: I do not think all shares your notion on this. I say this based on personal experience though. I would like to be part of some great collaboration for the betterment of WA but I do not think all would like this. It would be more of a reserved thing for particular people of preference. So I try to do things on my own: hosting games, play zar, and host cups now and then.

Of course any individual person cannot "control" Africa alone, but the more people who share a common goal, the more powerful you become and that you can achieve close to anything possible within our physical planet.

That's the whole point, and that's the way people have both been manipulating and been manipulated for eons. Also that being independent is possible and actually beneficial while any sane intelligent person realizes that's the complete opposite from the truth. Yet we're becoming further and further divided, in everything...

However, you alone have the power to change the future of the entire planet, let alone human race, this is due to the butterfly effect.

It's quite simple, strength in combined intellect & numbers, the more "individual" minds that you can influence and harmonize, the more powerful your own projections and manipulation shapes the future of the entire planet, and likely contributes to even the future of the entire universe.

Granted, I know there are very few people on Earth who truly care about this, but when you meet those rare few, it's literally reassuring and comforting to know you're not alone.

Even though I have recently come back to play, I don't see myself sticking around for too long. The older I get, the more guilt I feel over gaming because I know I can always be doing something better with my time, and when I think back to the thousands upon thousands of hours I've put into this game, it makes me sick. This past year off has been great and many things in my life are going far better than they were and I don't want to lose that momentum. This is why I refuse to get internet at home and only game via the wifi hotspot on my phone, because data is limited per month and kinda shitty, so I can't lose hours playing the new Street Fighter / Tekken / King of Fighters games because ping is too bad. (Fighters are main gaming love outside of Worms.) Also, I live in an unfortunate time zone for Worms, so the times I want to play (late evenings) are very quiet on Wormnet.

I dunno. I don't know if I'll ever quit permanently, but I definitely don't feel the desire to play often. I'd rather work on music, or make art, or work in my garden, or do pretty much anything else that doesn't involve sitting on my ass in front of a computer screen.

I am actually just more genuinely impressed that there is still a community and that this is still going.

I don't know if I will ever play properly again, but I find that a little alarm goes off in my head like once every couple of months to come back to this site and check in.

It's a weird one, the game had so much potential and team17 just didn't seem to care about it. If it came out today it would have seasons, dlc etc.... it's a nice novelty to look back on.

I hope people are playing it for years to come, but I'm pretty much done.

I hope to stop when I get out of CWT 2024 (or win it). Yes, Armageddon is a very interesting, complex, strategic game that cannot get bored, but life passes by. If players could earn money from this game, it would be a completely different matter, but this is not the case. I'm sorry, but for me playing this game is an addiction. I don't want to lose my wife and ruin my relationship with my relatives, so I have to stop.
