TUS Default Cup 1.0

I'm at 1-1 with Zwitter, donnie pls tomorrow or in the next days host the 3rd game for us and pick a map; elite. I was 1st picker, he 2nd, 3rd should be mine. I tried to host and picked island maps, Zwitter turned down all of them. Can I host next time again and pick a map and you spectate us? Or you choose a map x$

I propose to either warn Lupastic or exclude from the cup for misbehavior and misunderstanding the rules of it and this website. Lobby log included

Rules:

This cup should be treated like a regular TUS League game.
3 schemes available to pick: Elite, Team17 and Hysteria.
Each player picks a scheme, unpicked scheme is tiebreaker.

- Team17 is the Tiebreaker if score goes 1:1.

Rules:
- TUS Default League rules for all schemes (no glitches, no knocks etc...)
- Elite is played on Island.
- Hysteria is played on Island.
- Team17 can be played on Island and Cave - Picker chooses the variant. If opponent forces to disagree, cave variant should be played - Warning: If Team17 is the tiebreaker, the variant is mutual agreement. No consensus = Cave variant is priority always.
- Use only official schemes. Custom schemes are forbidden independent of mutual agreement.

I picked 5-6 different maps, all of them were very complex island maps, Zwitter kept asking me to change to next. He did the same while I hosted my 1st pick (Team17), he asked me 5 times to change maps, while it was not even his pick.. sadly I rly have no time for this kind disabilities, was ready up and play, but he didn't want to start, so I quitted. And he asked me to join his room so he can pick a map and play like that.. : P Main concern why we didn't come to agreement is that I hosted first, picked the map, then we quitted, he hosted his pick, picked a map, and since I win in the paper rock scissors minigame, I thought I could host the 3rd, since I was the first to start Someone neutral will have to host for us then

For TUS Leagues, the rules for map picking is clear. This is from the League Rules page:

Any player is within their rights to object to a map for any reason they desire. In TUS Leagues, if you cannot come to an agreement, you can just refuse to play because there is no strict format on who you need to play each season anyway. There are lots of players to play against. This also means that even if it is your pick, it is not mandatory for your opponent to agree to the map you picked.

Now, Cups are slightly different, it's a strict format, with scheduled matches in a more controllable environment. The Cup creator makes up and decides any rules they so desire, whatever they decide, you must obey.

If the Cup creator has not specifically dictated that specific rules should be followed, you resort to the TUS Leagues rules.

In this case, if the score is 1:1, the 3rd pick is a decider, which means it's neither players pick. Following the standard TUS rules you can refuse a map if you think it's not suitable for the scheme.

Since donnie is the Cup creator, he can decide how to proceed, a third party host is a good idea. Since they will pick what map they feel is suitable for the scheme itself, without being biased towards either players preferences.

Also, we should all try to follow the TUS Leagues rules for behaviour a bit more to set a better example for everyone.

Lupastic I think you misuderstood the picking system. Last game is not a pick of anyone, we treat it like it's a mutual pick. If any of you picked first or won rps game, doesn't matter for that. The hoster is decided by gentlemen's agreement like it always were. In this case Zwitter was a gentleman and let you host but you guys had problem choosing a map.

Default maps for Elite are random complex island map (.LEV maps) - I recommend avoid custom terrain and png maps, unless both players agree. Ok?

I hope you guys sort it out and play! Last resource is a middleman for host, It hope it don't have to be like this!

Yeah I can't refute that lol. When I wrote island it meant... don't pick a cave?  I did not know I had to be very specific, haha.
Honestly I thought most people know what are Elite maps and how much complex they have to be.

Honestly we can consider it single Island, the plop is almost insignificant.

I decided to deleted your win against Kradie and warned others to ignore you in the group like you never joined the cup. I talked to general cup moderator before taking this action.

Hi Vesuvio, thanks for being very active in the cup and trying to play your games asap. Though I disagree reporting game wins like this. I will try to hear from Cello what happened. For now I'm keeping your report but next time please talk to cup mod before taking actions.

Edit: I changed my mind about this report. I deleted it. You can report later if I get to know why Cello quit, ok? Save the replay.

I'm getting out of this dump. I don't like this anyway, quit the cup.

Lol, all people from FS clan but gusa left the cup. I don't think this is a coincidence.
