Birds really change your strategy, its the temptation of having 2 homing which could do 70 hp damage.

Yeah true, but they're not very accurate and most of the times if you need to do more than 50 damage, dyna/sheep are good enough.. There's hardly ever a situation where you can use a pigeon to its maximum capability.

I'd say they are only good if you can hold off till SD and people are on top...

Still there's at least 50% chance of the to succeed.
Game that I succeeded doing 50 damage by each bird. Still both shots risky.
