I dunno komo it looks like it is vibrating =P thus vibrator!

He said vibrato, vibrato and vibrate are 2 completely different things.

Vibrato:

 1.
a pulsating effect, produced in singing by the rapid reiteration of emphasis on a tone, and on bowed instruments by a rapid change of pitch corresponding to the vocal tremolo.

Vibrate could work tho, as many other words, but not vibrato!!!

A pump from rope produces tone at many frequencies, therefore it can be named as vibrato pump  :P
And I think that English is very flexible language, isn't it?  ???

Everything is music!

When the rope vibrates it makes a musical note, but it's hard to hear. I have pitched it up here to make it easier to hear the notes :D

Vibrato is a regular pulsating change of pitch, that isn't regular, the pitch only changes when you extend and contract the rope, even when you do extend and contract the rope you are actually making it more like arpeggio than vibrato.

I am wrong about it not being musical though, it does have rhythm, you could sample it and do all sorts with it etc.

But it's definitely 100% not vibrato.

Why have we never discussed collaborating on a track together?

I reckon we could do a great remix of the Worms theme.
