EAC 2014 - Meeting-Point

Please use this thread to find a date where both, you and your opponent, are available to play your weekly match.

Below are general rules for this tourney and I really recommend reading them at least once before the tourney. There are no new rules so last years are still latest.
The rules can be also found at the EAC 2014 rules page (http://www.2014.eac-wa.com/index.php?page=rules).

games / rounds

You have to play against each opponent a best-of-5 series; one opponent per week.
You have to play all your games in the channel #PartyTime.
The host has to set up the cup mode (best-of-five) in the scheme.
If both players want to host, make a rehost after 2 games, and so on.
Standard Elite-Scheme must be used in every game.
Only "Island Maps" are allowed to play.
No maps from map-packs allowed, only new maps made then and there with the editor.
Using any cheats or glitches are forbidden. Also "fastwalking" isen't allowed.
About knocking with rope/bungee: #pt: allowed! #ag: not allowed! Play your games at #pt.
You are not allowed to change your team weapon during a match! For further matches you may switch if you want.
It is not allowed to play manipulative in any way, especially it is forbidden to lose rounds on purpose because of the predcition game.

Winner Report. Just click on "Report" and fill out the table. All replays must be uploaded in the right order.
You will find current standings and all replays and the prediction game there too.

judges

The Judges are Random00 and SPW.

deadline / challenges

You will have one opponent per week to play a best-of-five challenge.
Deadline for each round will be every Sunday, 20:00 / 08:00 pm GMT.
Organize a date with your opponent as fast as possible to get the games done. Use this thread to make your date or send a TUS PM to your opponent and send a copy to BOTH of the moderators. We will take this as a reference if some problems are coming up with a match. For the proof, we maybe ask you to show some sreenshot in case a match-up isn't played in time.
If your games couldn't be played until the deadline, the judges will decide what is going to happen. At first we check the "Meeting-Point-Thread" and PMs, then screens
No game should be played before the matchday has started. Only exception to this rule is if the moderators explicitly tell you to play beforehand.

Only a fair match is a good match :)

hm, lets schedule for german time? GMT is still +2???

I prefer to play as late as possible. 18 GMT only if really necessary. I'd rather play at 9 or 10 Uhr (CET)

barman got kicked out of the championship, because of his inactivity.

Because of this the schedule now looks a bit different. Every player that should have played against barman now has a free round, which means almost every matchday we will have two players who have a free round. I know this is not optimal, but sadly it is necessary to do it this way, because rescheduling is overly complicated.

I hope barman will stay the only one we need to kick because of inactivity. Let's keep this eac active!

I wrote a long mail to you, last Thursday. Do you check this? TUS was for a day down, thus I had massive problems to contact my opponents. Originally Thursday was playtime for me.

Please read my mail and respond to this. So I can predict what efforts I have to do. Sorry for big inconviences...

Two minutes before we are supposed to meet you text me that you are held up at work and that you will be ready in a couple of hours.. Then u text back 15 minutes after we are supposed to meet that you're at home and ready to play, it doesn't make any sense. I got held up at work too Dev, there's really not much I can do about it.. Should I have left work to play our games? Working 13-14 hours a day this week, however friday was planned to be a 'normal' day but it turned out not to be. I thought 19 GMT would do it.. You're giving me dates so late that if we play the time you suggest, I would literally get no sleep. Can you play on Sunday from 16 GMT?

I was on Santiago, away from the city, f@#!ers didnt have a ticket till 6 pm, the whole shit was collapsed, just got home. It's my fault neway man, I woudln't get mad if they give u the win, pretty lame that we didn't play, I guess we coulda play way before, I dont have work tomorrow, so if u want to play at 16 gmt or whatever, let me know!

Probably not. Random and I talked about that before the championship started and we change default wins into 1-0 cause otherwise it does affect the table too much.

Its always bad if this happens but imo its the best way.

By the way, if you get a default loss you get 0-3. Just no chance to give any tactical advantage by doing a default loss on purpose. 8)

The game Devilage vs. franz stands as it is, mainly because it was a fuzz for franz to get these games done, so he gets at least a little reward (same ratio as free win, but more won rounds) for having them played.
All other matches that involve Devilage are set to 1-0 for Devilage's opponent.
All matches involving Devilage are not counted for the prediction game.

i played most games in tel this season.. i'm not inactive!! i said about my time when i can play morning from 08:00 - 10:00 - from 12:00 to 16:00 or night from 22:00. (GMT)

why everybody say to play 20:00 that i cant play???

crazy and crash, this are my time. so tell me if you can play....

btw crash i meet you in ag some days ago and you said that you cannot play because was too late.. (22:00 gmt) :S

franz just found out about a trip he must do from Friday to Sunday so we arranged to play our games Tuesday at 00.00 GMT. It wasn't easy to find a good day because our time zone is very different and franz works in the evening (in USA). I hope that it won't be a problem to play 2 days after the deadline. I would really appreciate when you could play tomorrow (all day) or saturday (until 3 pm).

Because after that, it will become a lot more difficult to find time to play worms. Thanks in advance.

Last monday Crash replied the last time on my pm. What is actually a pity, because original deadline was 7th september.

The last days I was very available to play my games (I did so with lales and Csongi). The next week is very uncertain if I can play my scheduled game. :-/

I am also having problems with the connection because I am moving and I don't think to have internet until next week even if I have already signed the new contact. :-\ There are way too many pending games so I wont to that all manually. You guys know it by yourself and I hope most of the games get played soon. There are also games which should have played long ago. From case to case, some of you risk to get a warn, a defloss or your game get just cancelled. There is only one more matchday left until EAC ends and we hope we dont have to do some radical decisions. It also may effect next year championship! So stay your man (or girl) and play your pending games as soon as possible.

There are some pending matches. We give you all a very last deadline. Only MaStEr, if he show some effort to finish all games, would get some extra time if needed. For all other matches, next deadline is the final one.
