Welcome to the NBA playoff pick 'em thread.  Anyone is welcome to take part, although will probably be just me and peja because, you know, its basketball, not worms.  Scoring will be based on the daily picks + series picks.  Dailies are worth 1 point each, and correct series picks are worth 5 points each (Include final series score predicted, will be worth 1 point as well).  One person will post the daily picks for the day, (anyone can do this).  Example for daily challenges are below.

Final Standings

Walrus
Daily: 21/30 21 PTS 70%
Series: 11/15 55 PTS 73%
Series closest: 6/15 6 PTS 40%

Peja
Daily: 18/30 18 PTS 60%
Series: 9/15 45 PTS 60%

MonkeyIsland, my friend, I know your english is terrible and your understanding of society limited. However, in real life, people attack and humiliate others without the use of a single bad word. They even go to war with lengthy politeness. You can't base the whole moderation philosophy of a community based on the use of bad words and your struggle with sarcasm and irony. My attack to Jonno was fully justified and of proper good taste.

My Daily:

Blazers vs Clippers

More rebounds: LMA or Jordan

My picks:

Portland and Aldridge
Your daily is void as Aldridge isn't playing at all in the game tonight and I doubt Jordan will play more than 3-4 mins.

Peja

quite interesting we dont trust the rockets. would like to know your reasons.
i think the blazers will be able to take away houstons 3 point shooting and kinda win the shootout battle.
LMA should also create a huge matchup problem. he will destroy terrance jones. if they decide to put howard on him, Lopez will controll the boards.

TheWalrus

I'm not sure about the west at all, to be honest.  I think there is a pretty good chance the spurs get upset by the mavs.  The problem is the bottom 4 seeds are playing not so great, so its hard to pick, say, memphis.  But memphis has already beaten this same okc team in the playoffs with basically these same players.  And they really put it together at the end of the season and are finally healthy.  Damn tough first round matchups for both.

Peja

the grizzlies did beat okc without westbrook. i guess its a huge difference. this year they added some shooting with lee and miller but okc is complete this time and also their support improved. for me its save win. maybe some hard games, but they wont come close beating them.

I actually changed my pick to the rockets.

Daily pick for tomorrow (4/20):

PTS over/under for Rockets/Blazers: 215 total

More points: JoNoah or Marcin Gortat?

I like the over in the rockets game and Noah to outscore Gortat.

Peja

noah vs gortat: gortat

portland and houston: over 215 points total

memphis vs okc: zbo commits more fouls than perkins scores points: yes
