I am not asking for anything, I am neither making a complaint or moaning, just wonder if anyone else shares an opinion with me that league standings for clanners will NEVER be accurate? But still be lots fun with your mates of course :)

There will always be noob bashing, avoiding, complaining, playing cheap, people trying to cheat, waiting for the right opportunities like (and please listen to me here I mean no offense, read the whole post and let me finish lol...) CF beating cfc at BnG without me there to defend our 19+ streak, and I know, this has happened to many others at many other schemes who probably share my pain so what goes around comes around and makes it kind of exciting and fair in a way that everyone is entitled to do most of these things without breaking rules or admitting it, we all know it's happening, but we don't really care cuz we do all enjoy it from time to time lol.

CF, BEFORE ANY of you reply to this trying to make me out to look like a bad guy, remember I am just using that situation as an example, it has happened to a countless amount of other players, you guys deserve every game you have won, you are all extremely talented players and I respect each and everyone of you, I know you are not afraid to play me at BnG lol, no one is, I am just saying from the fact you guys pick BnG very very very rarely (which is madness considering how good you all are at BnG, I would go as far as to say it is your strongest scheme, any combination of players in your clan can and probably would beat almost anyone else...) and it just looks like you picked it for easy points because cfc didn't have a strong BnG team on at the time, I don't mean any harm by saying this, and I could give probably a hundred other examples with almost every other clan on TuS I only use this one because it's the most recent.

Anyway, I know this would never happen, I know it's 100% impossible as we all have familys jobs and other interests and don't have the time, not to mention people on different timezones.

But, sometimes it's nice to think, if every clan, had a limit, which is playing every other clan 2 times, 4 games, Everyones 1st encounter against each other the team to pick 1st is randomly chosen, then the 2nd time they meet the other team get 1st pick, and all clans play each other with a full squad and each player has to play at least 1 game out of the 2 games against every clan, I bet the standings would be surprising and totally different to what it is now being able to play as many as you want against whoever you want and being able to reject clanners for whatever reason, valid or not.

I know this will never happen, and I ain't even suggesting it as an idea lol so don't say "Komo, that will never happen stop being a douche" I just think it's a nice idea to think about what it would be like if leagues were more organised, also nice to post your interests and thoughts now and again :)

Fire at will lol...

you could play every bng for your clan if it had only 2 people.  maybe then you could go for 100+ streak!

Let me try this another way:

Most young guys growing up as kids would love to be a professional footballer, or other sport, for me, I would love to play WA professionally... I knwo it won't happen, but it would be totally amazing...

We're all pro wormers dude.

Pro footballers, pro tennis players, pro snowboard, skiiers, surfers all take their sports/games to the highest level. They are creative, artistic and pinioring in their feilds. They revolutionise the game and sport and express their styles and talents in it. They influence others and give ambitions to many.

Look at how worms is so similar to that, we've taken this game and turned it into something amazing, coming up with tricks in roper style contests, naming them and teaching them to others, your bank shots in bngs, someones aggressive or defensive style to elite, someones sight and vision in intermediate, t17. The speed in an rr'er, the long rope style. Creating maps, inventing schemes. Competitions, leagues, tourneys, worm olympics.

We are already pro, we just don't get paid or have sponsorships, but we don't care because we love this game. Otherwise we wouldnt still be here playing it. No one can take that away from us. Its a hiden underground community that very few people know about but it brings us so much happiness. Yea it would be great if more people knew about it. If we had nike billboarders of CKC or rebox komo with a nade in his hand (all sigworm styles ha) But the fact i wake up and can meet people ive known for years, and others only recently and play some worms with them keeps me content :D I think we need to all take a step back and just look at ourselves and appricate what we have and how much fun and love we have for WA. There is too most fighting and trouble in our community at the best of times but if we all just remember how passionate we are about this game we can all take alot of positives from it.

ps. if you want some of what im smoking send me an email  ::)

Everything you said Chick, except, not everyone is honest here, I mean a professional system would be nice, an equal amount of games for everyone, no hiding, no avoiding, no noob bashing, everyone plays everyone, and has their whole clan involved in all those games, save your best squad for the best clans, or whatever you want, it'd be more professional, but yeah, I get what you mean :)

Komo, you just care too much about statistics. The most important point is Fun. CF wont dodge any nice and skilled clan. But we are most of the time not up to play vs annoying guys like (you know...^^). CF last clanners was happening at following preaction: "clanner anyone?" "we clanner, CF" "ok." No matter whats the lineup and clan, exept ... (you know...^^).

Just have fun with ur mates and play worms - dont care all the time about stats. nobody cares, its just a nice option :P

well, thats not really true, and you know it :P
We do care about stats (we wouldn't analyze for points if we didnt care), but having fun is just more important. And most of the times its more fun to win a game rather then losing one, so we just choose a scheme where the "points * aprox. winning probability * fun"-factor is the greatest. And I guess every clan picks like this, but for us the "fun factor" is almost the same in every scheme, so it maybe looks like we just go for the points ^^

hm, maybe I dont speak for everyone in CF, but thats at least how I always pick schemes in Singles and I make suggestions for clanner picks like this as well.

SPW

pssst random  :D (talking interna is not like talking to community.)  8)

I mean, its nice to talk about stats, sure. But thats just a nice thing after some clanners. Besides of fun, the leaguerank is important and sure we pick schemes which gives us more points / less risk.

Good post there Dave.. I played an Elite clanner vs six last night and I can't even remember it. Does that make a valid point? I think it does. xD

Edit: Actually you could also blame your clanmates for playing a clanner when you weren't around!! This happens to me too, sometimes yanme and Unique lose RR's just because I wasn't there.. I'm scolding them a lot.
I remember knowing who it was but dont remember exactly what I knew

First off a little side note: if you don't have anything against CF and don't want others to think you do, perhaps you should stop using them as examples, Komo ;) I think it's a known issue in the league, so you didn't have to give any example, we know what you're talking about.

But what exactly are you proposing is to be done about this?

Ray

If you were using us as an example, then it was a bad example, and to be honest (if you really know us) I cannot believe that you actually even remotely think that we were waiting for you to be gone, like we were hunting and the prey was the most vulnerable at that exact moment, so we were just hiding in the bushes and when you are not there, we go BUMM! just to get your freaking BnG points.

I am disappointed.

Husk

nope, its the same thing u do everynight (:

TheKomodo

Cmon man none of you have even read my post right, what is the point in me even making an effort, that post took me like 40 minutes because I check and double check it you would notice I explain why it isn't that big a deal and it's just thoughts and interests I have at the moment and I mean nothing by it...

And why CF? Because it's the last thing that has happened like this involving a clan I am in...

Last time it was mm for trying to avoid a BnG, time before that it was doH for disrespecting our BnG pick then trying to report an Elite win even though we didn't report the BnG out of respect, time before that was TpM who were the cheapest BnG'rs I have ever seen.

It isn't just CF, maybe you should just realise I am very passionate about BnG, and I NEVER pick what we can get most points from, I pick BnG everytime because it's my favourite scheme, and well, my strongest, and this is the way I feel it should be.

Whether CF picked it for easy points or not, it DOES look that way whether it is or isn't, I am not accusing you, all I am saying is it LOOKS like that, and well, you just assumed I must have meant that you are...

EVERY clan and almost every player picks schemes for easy points, in fact, I can proudly say I am possibly one of the only people that actually picks the scheme he enjoys the most 99% of the time regardless or points, unlike most ;)

So whatever, have your little assumption that I think you are lame or something, cuz I know I don't, I know I really like you guys and thats all I need to know, you know, sometimes even the best of friends argue or disagree on something but they don't fall out, why can't you see things from my point of view for once? It's completely harmless...

DarkOne

Komo, I again suggest you stop using examples to make your point :)

Whether you have a problem with CF or not, it certainly LOOKS like you are. People would probably be less off-topic if you didn't use an example and just posted the general problem. Now it just turns into another CF thread, which is such a waste, because you do have a point to make that doesn't involve CF specifically.

It looks like you missed my question at the end, so I'll just repeat it :)
What exactly are you proposing is to be done about this?
