MonkeyIsland

That is overall statistics of all the clans the person have played for.

We were talking about recruiting, not kicking, right?
The second part of the statistics, was the clan page listing all his members. That could actually show the weakest members and one part of Tom argument was this.
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

I don't see where the problem is, the winning percentage is clearly visible in TUS singles too.
I remember knowing who it was but dont remember exactly what I knew

I just don't think its nice to see who the weakest member in a clan is. A clan is a team and seeing all the stats for the clan is fine. But seeing the individuals involvement for that clan could result in not people getting booted, but people feeling bad and disappointed that they are the weakest link. They may leave a clan or have problems finding a new clan from their record etc. My point is that i think it will create more negatitives than posititives.

darKz

People who lose a lot of clanners know so themselves, and the clan itself should know if it's everyone's fault or that single guy's.. I still think the argument that, if they want, people can calculate all this stuff themselves, stands stronger than yours Tom. :P

Amen. I can see how many people would find the feature nice, including myself, but you have to look at the case from more then one point of view. As Chicken says, there are more negative then positive sides here.

Since i'm sure i've the worst star in tdc. Shall i consider myself as the weak point and autoboot myself ? ;)

Then let the calculate it if it makes them happy. Instead of MI making a stat public that could cause more harm than good.

TheKomodo

I honestly think you are the one thinking negatively here Tom, sometimes it's good to think positive and have a laugh about these things that get all worked up and disturbed by them.

Random00

Chicken, you're afraid of seing your stats? :P
Nah, but honestly: It would be just some nice feature to have. Go for it, MI :)

I think you're seeing ghosts here Tom. :D

Edit: In FB they had a feature like this too, it didn't show the percentage but the number of wins and losses for each individual player (which is pretty much the same). Aaand it didn't cause clans to boot their "weakest links" either.

Ive seen my stats and im happy with them! :D 58% overall. In elite ive won over 1000 points for CKC. There is also a ratio there which MI said a precentage for the schemes could be coded too. I do think its a cool feature and i personally don't mind anyone seeing my stats. But im not thinking about myself here, im thinking about others.

I just think that it should be up to the clan leader (those who have admin settings in the group bit) to decide if they want the stats to be public or private. Because their may be some players that are not so happy with their stats and proformance and don't want it to be public because its different to singles stats. Clanning is about team work and some players may not want to see that they have lost alot of points for the clans they have played in.

TheKomodo

Well, I do agree with Chicken that people should have the option of having their statistics made public, but then again, isn't it the whole point of a league, to be able to see every statistic, people obviously must see in recent games etc the amount of games people are winning-losing, we can see everything else which to me is alot worse than %, but I guess thats just how I personally feel...

avirex

chicken does not want to see all the own i did in ckc.. cuz then he will regret losing me even more...

as it is, he writes me love letters, asking me to come back.

TheKomodo

I just realised I made it sound as if every other statistic is bad and shouldn't be shown, I didn't mean this lol, I think it's all nice unique and part of what makes TuS so good, I just think a little % is better than everything else, if you understand? lol
