Right, I was kinda hoping for you to pick up on this one ropa. :P
We'd need 1 more commentator then, and someone who sets up the stream... My machine isn't powerful enough sadly, need Quadcore processor for best performance. D:

Note that some games are hardly commentable, for example:
- TTRR (wow nice run by X! aww, Y hit ceiling! Z needs 45 to draw!)
- roper (in the last turn, X used the rope, took a health crate and placed a mine on Y's head!)
- last 15 minutes of most hysteria games (X missed for the 38th time! Y missed for the 39th time! X missed for the 40th time!, etc.)
If you heard the amount of discussion we can do in a Roper... and we are no commentators. :D
i would commentate, but there's only so many times i can say, "And there's another self-zook by ray" before it starts getting stale.
I can't hear you! :D

I had some tries at commentating, there was a campaign in Hungary where anyone could sign up to commentate a soccer game live, they recorded everyone and then selected the most talented person and offered a scholarship at the local television channel where they could study this field for free for a year and get a diploma at the end, I came in 4th place, the winner was a pure genious though!

So I'd also love to try this, but just as ropa, I wouldn't feel comfortable with my pronounciation, I'd really have to focus a lot to keep it together, and that's still not like a native speaker of course.

This would be awesome!!!

Hopefully we can coinside this with the arrangement of the playoffs! Its hard enough getting 2 clans to meet at the same time, then the ones streaming would need to work around that.

Yea, very nice idea. I hope, some of you can arrange it.

For a commentator, I'd prefer sexiest speech in worms world... Cueshark!  :-*

You can try and register on justin.tv - there's a tutorial too with video streaming programs that can be used. You'll also need a virtual machine, I'm using VMware Workstation, since you can only stream in windowed mode (which WA doesn't support, so this is pretty much just a decent workaround).

only 10 free broadcasts with dyyno? this true darkz?

edit: and now virtual machine software also seems iffy. if there's an easy and free way to do all this, I'll do it, but I don't know anymore ;p

I asked Khamski, who did the stream for CWT.
He recommended the following tuts:

and if this is not enough to get it set up, then:
Quote from: Khamski
just google the hell out of it... internet is full of this tuts

Hope this can help. Would be so cool to have a stream :O

Yeah in the end I streamed these games myself. The quality is far from perfect and it was all pretty spontaneous but here's the link to all the recordings: http://www.twitch.tv/tehdarkz/videos

The voices you hear are all CF guys, it recorded straight from our Ventrilo server. :P

I'd really like to have someone stream the next playoffs. Obviously not myself, the quality is bad enough and I can't play while I stream (which is the reason why there's no 2nd game, BnG, won by cfc, on my channel). :)

Anyway congrats cfc, you were simply better this time. :D
