guess thats why i love clanners, and care less about singles...

contra was an awesome game, but i guess that one goes without saying... i forget the code, used to know it by heart lol... up down up down left right left right A B A B select start? prolly not... but suttin like that huahuah

I suggest you download Mame then.

It's exceptionally easy to use.  No need to install anything because it runs from a small exe.  Also because it only uses your processor, it doesn't matter about gpx cards etc so there's never any compatibility problems.

It's free.  Just download mame and you can find *ahem* the roms (games) you need in the normal legal way.

Drop the game in the roms folder and you're ready to go.

You can even get a version of Mame with a net play client built in.  I was playing co-op Golden Axe with some American bloke the other day.

Nothing stopping us organising some games of bubble bobble

It's the top link - 10.9mb file.

Just unzip that and run the exe.  That is Mame with the net client built in.  To play online just click file / netplay.

You'll need the roms though of course.  Don't use msn anymore, i'll email you.
