Nintendo is discontinuing wi-fi service on May 20 2014, so no more online games: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/gameslist/en/games-wifi.jsp

The aforementioned game is also on the list.. You do, however, have just less than 1 month to play...

yeah that's exactly what annoys me, they should tell us... like a text in the game box that says: "online play will be supported until the end of year 2014"
