after minimizing I can't maximize the Game!! (Black Screen)

People please... tell me wut to do...

I tend to minimize the game for many reasons, to lower my music volume or to check Fbook and now I am pushed to play 50 min (molz) stright forward without any possibility to return to the game because then when I maximize I got some graphics fragments and black screen, I don't even have the sound of the match music etc...

But I do can maximize the game if I am in Anything Goes or in Hosting lobby

Are you running WA as administrator? You shouldn't be, it causes various issues, one of them being the inability to restore the game after minimising.

He's not running the game in admin mode because there are words "Black Screen" in the topic title. If he ran the game as administrator, nothing would happen at all when clicking the taskbar icon.
Are you using the latest update and what renderer is in use right now? (Options -> Advanced -> Graphics API)

I never really look at Advanced Options but I changed Direct3D 7 to Direct3D 9 Shader and it works perfectly, It even maximizes faster than it used to in past before it was sth like 1 sec, now it maximizes in 0,01 sec or sth like that lol

I have an almost identical problem - after minimizing I often can't maximize the Game!! but in my case the game crash - the error messages appears and the game quit to a desktop. I tried to switch to other renderers as StepS suggested but it still didn't solve the problem. And there are 2 different types of the crashes - one occurs often, and the second one (graphical) sporadically. Sometimes no error message appears, but the game is stucked on the taskbar and cant maximize and some graphical glitches show on the screen. All that things occurs almost everyday, they are starting to be annoying and a pain in the butt.

crashes 1-13 while using DirectDraw (32bit) (crash 13 is the one that occurs sporadically)
crash 14 while using DirectDraw (8bit)
crash 15 while using Direct3D 9 (shader)
I also got a crash on Direct3D 7 but I did not care to save the crash logs.

I put all crashes logs as an attachement
