Keyboard is not detected when running in fullscreen on Debian 8.1 with Gnome

When I play the actual game the game goes in full screen not in window mode, my keyboard only while in game like in a map; the game doesn't detect the keyboard, I can't move any worm. does anybody knows why and how to solve it?
THERE is no mention about keyboard not being detected on WA on linux article by Worms2d site

to those who may have similar problem I found a workaround for it.
I press the windows key on the keyboard and with some clicking around I get to the windows managment where I can reselect the worms window and the keyboard works in fullscreen now.
I can then select another window while other worms are playing like I'm doing now.
