Retreat time - bug?

I just played a game with a retreat time of 0 for land and rope attacks. So when I drop a grenade from a rope, I come off the rope instantly and can't move. However, when dropping dynamite I have the retreat time for land and rope. Is this a bug?

Weapons you can drop that don't go anywhere (mine, dynamite, ming vase) always have a minimum of 5s retreat. There's some rationale if you think about it.

That's a good point
I'd never played a 0 retreat game before - was wondering why dynamite had retreat on the rope, but not grenades. Thanks for the reply

A number of features are just glorified bugs. Wait until you get to how Longbow works.
The manual in the installation folder is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural
