While I'm in an audio conference with skype, and start a game in WA, I can't hear any game sound anymore. Any idea?

with my skype, sometimes the call will lower the volume on every other program so you can hear skype better. see if your volume went down in your applications when you start the skype call

try control panel > sound > communications > and select the option "do nothing"
