Considering the knock in the end of the game:
of course you got an advantage by this knock.
1) You piled perfectly -> no opportunity to kill you
2) But that you use bat in the next round, what wasn't possible from the original position, that sucks.
I would have excused point 1), but point 2) is just lame.
