And he could just check the match settings in the lobby.

I think you gave him too much attention. Why not say that it is tus scheme and stay whole game silent?  :D

Personally I also prefer shopper with bazooka. But if the person doesn't say anything (as was the case with this player), I play with the standard league scheme.
