Well if you look above, i think it's Random who started this comment so i wonder why you think it is pointed at you now? Believe me, it isn't... just wondering why people can't accept a no from a player, i mean there are surely other guys that'll be willing to play with you. And then that shitty avoider/noobbasher thing comes up again. I wonder where the sportsmanship in calling someone an avoider just because he denies to play you is though. I don't have to play everyone and i surely would not play guys that i know i won't have fun games with. As simple as that.

Of course, you are free to play whoever you want, whenever you want. But think about it the other way around: imagine yourself working kind of hard to get into the Playoffs, but you have a hard job - your rating is high. You cannot get too many points from anyone and by playing, you are risking a lot. Maybe one stupid loss can take away the points of 7 or even more victories.

You are trying to play people that actually have many points - and you keep getting a no while you see that that very person is playing a TUS at that very moment. He just doesn't want to play with you, however, you know you could get a reasonable amount of points from that person.

And when you check the statistics, you can see that the person you wanted to play with has a high seasonal rating, even though he has high overall. You are wondering: "wow, he must be a tough opponent then! I wonder why he denies to play with me?!? He must have beaten many high rated players to get so many points in the season!"

And then you see the truth...

Wouldn't that piss you off?

P.S.: I thought you were pointing at me because I was the one who explained the thing (sort of), nevermind, I was drinking.

and its not about saying no to someone asking tus

if someone asked tus from me and i would be busy or wouldn't like to play wa, i would say no and nothing wrong with that

but if someone asked tus from me and i had in my intention to play tus but not against the player asking it from me, theres ur problem X:

Sure. I thought TUS points system does not benefit avoiding good players though. I remember CKC being in PO's even though they were second last in seasons ranking. They had a good win-loss ratio though but didn't gain many points^^. All in all i don't see the advantage of avoiding, you know you'll be out in first round of the PO's anyway most likely if you make which also is pretty unlikely unless you have a very shit rating. Also Random00 doesn't have to moan, he's PO #2 atm. Shows that the system works.

First of all, its pretty ok to say "no" when you are asked to play tus. Even without a good reason, but I'll explain the situation I had with Csongi and also his reason why it was like this.

Csongi was asking for tus games in #ag. I wanted to play him, so I replied that I wanted to play him. Next thing I see in ag chat is Csongi asking "tus any1" again. This didn't happen the first time to me this season, I also remember r3spect and M0j0 doing this. But they either leave ag when they see that Im the only onne who wants to play tus at this moment or they find someone else and play him then ;d But lets go on: After Csongi asked the second time, I anwered again, that I wanted to tus. Same reult as before: he continued asking for tus. I thought that he maybe was in a game and just spamming a bit for tus, so I PM'ed him to be sure, that he reads my reply. But still nothing changed. Then I started also to ask "tus any1" in #ag, which was obviously some idiot situation with 2 guys asking for tus at the same moment ;d
Husk and NinjaCamel were also around and told Csongi that I wanted to play tus. Then, suddenly he just said that I should host my pick. So I thought he was just agreeing now, because too many players saw what he was going to try. After this, there was no problem at all, we just played our games, and fine.

Now here's Csongis explanation, why the situation was like this:

Sounds kinda plausible for me, since he was really ignoring all of my posts all the time. And looking at Csongi's recent games I have to admit that he also plays against high rated players, which is fine

As for Mojo, it also happened to me that he kinda ignored it when i told him i want to tus. Seems like some people simply copy paste their request without checking if someone answered or not. xD For Csongi i almost certainly can lay my hand in the fireplace. If he doesn't want to TUS me he simply says no.

The weird thing is though that after a couple of "YEAH, TUS HERE!!!" "MOJO, I WILL TUS FFS!!!" he kinda wakes up and the games will be played.
