certainly harder than a 3 sec direct or LG 5 impact.

I just don't see it being harder. Especially not when it comes to lg5 impact.





Not doing maths, not going for visual aids, don't posses knowledge of sprites behaviour/aim reticules etc..
Surely not a BnG prodigy, but it does feel easier and cheaper to bounce the nade from green circle (or any other bouncing part of the map), than to hit an impact shot in that red circle.

Oh, shit..Totally forgot about this. Thanks for reminding, Chris. Apparently there was 12 of these sunday tourneys and last one hosted 2018. Time really flies. Hope to get you guys play a few more in near future.

Since I've been told by a certain player I constantly "moan" about how people play BnG.. Decided to take few shots while SiD was in darkside. This video (@25.24) is why I think these type of shots are not that hard or stylish.

3 different types of shots, 3 tries, 3 hits (3 turns in a row as well) - 3s nade, 4s lg nade, 4s max bounce nade

Not the most hp ever taken, but you get the point.. Quite easier to find your opponent than with an impact shot of any kind (minus 4s full power nade. Those are another type of evil, but let's leave that for some future dramas.

Many people don't like aerial and don't want to play Bo3.

Totally get this and respect it!
Although, lot of these people remember Aerial as a scheme they've played against Chelsea and similar players (darksiding tactics). With random mines, without sudden death etc, etc...
Scheme changed for 180 degrees and people should give it another chance.

This is officially changed. But we'll need to wait next season for MI to apply it. If you want to play with this scheme already, I'm sure he'll approve it. Default is BO3, BO1 if both players agree.

Boom needs sdet +ldet. Just so we're all on the same wave length. Am I still sleepy, or sdet won't work without ldet in this scheme!?

BnG discussions going in circles for too long now. Whatever anyone said, Komo was there to disagree. Just leave him to turn this scheme like he wants, he probably never gonna play it, but apparently that's less important.

For Big RR wrote what I think im the other thread. Actually asked you something there Walrus, but you never replied.

Don't have anything against TT Big RR, if you didn't notice - it was me who uploaded it here ~10yrs ago.

Although, to play league with this scheme, we would need a whole new system.
Legion would need to update his BigRR Generator to have a timecode on the map when it was made, so ppl couldn't abuse their map picks. It would also need special parameters under which a hoster can generate his map (certain numbers of pixels for width,height,size of the cell etc..). So all maps are fresh and under, let's say 70-80 seconds for a good roper. All above that would be calling for a carpal tunnel.

Then again.. Why do all of this, when we already have TT Big RR in one section of TUS which is Challenges?
TT Big RR in leagues would only make sense if nizikawa's Realtime module is fully released with working replays. But until then, let's just stick with turn based league system: Players competing to use their whole turns in fastest way possible. Falling will probably be punished. Nothing wrong with that.

Rule you're talking about was changed years ago. Probably when BigRR moved from Free league into Allround.
Scheme description just wasn't updated. Player who reaches finish in less ammount of time is a winner. And time is calculated when they finish in the same turn. It's the logical and fairest way. Don't know what you're complaining about, tbh.



Ideally, we would be completely changing the Big RR scheme because 40s turns is rubbish, I'd rather TT Big RR, it's much more accurate and balanced.

And what then? Stop playing 90% of Big RR maps people made because most of them take 300-400 seconds to finish? You out of all people suggesting TT BigRR, when you couldn't race with jetpack for longer than a minute last time we played.
