Well we have the same conclusions ropa (hey btw)

I bought PES because it was £10 cheaper and I only had the last 3 FIFAs. Also it just felt more satisfying scoring goals and creating plays on PES - corners suck though!

Haven't tried the Online Master League yet but the Master League is pretty good and similar to old PES. It's actually kinda fun scrapping through games with a rubbish team then signing better players.

When I get better I'll set up an Online Master League team.

Might get FIFA too before my time off for Christmas but pretty happy with PES so far...

Gaming Central / FIFA or PES?

Loads of people into football will no doubt have bought either FIFA or PES and will no doubt prefer one to the other.

Which do you guys think is better this year?

Having played both demos I picked PES this year (played PES up to 2008 and FIFA since 2010) because I really think it's improved and it seems you have more direct control of the game, i.e. manual passing/shooting, directed and controlled "AI runs".

As much as I loved the last FIFAs I think PES has caught up (almost) and I wanted to try something different this year - the FIFA demo felt to simplistic and "automated", it required little effort to set up a move and score a screamer.

Later on in that very topic you admitted to cheating for 4/5 months, no comment.
Took me 5 minutes to find that thread, keywords like 'cheaters' are handy.

BTW: The only problem I have is defending something you have done is blasphemous.

Why did clans recruit you? You are an asset to most clans. You play well in leagues and show good stats to back it up. You are popular and clan leaders know that good wormers would want to join a clan that you are a member of. You are a nice person.

You like those answers, huh? You should be fairly happy with that.

PS: As a person I don't have a problem with you. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed playing you, cheating aside you were cool to talk to.

komo, its very ironic that a cheater would be giving up the information.... (unless he does not play anymore, and does not care) ((just saying))

Avi, I'd really know why you persist so much on the thought that I cheat? Is there any replay, conversation that makes you think that? I really would like to get that out of the way and that we could actually be cool again. Maybe I can even confirm something that you thought about me, I am not going to lie to you or anything there is no reason for me to lie.

Not asking much but tell me what has changed your mind so drastically. PM me or write here it doesn't matter.

As stated earlier, I don't have the replays, but I am sure anyone involved in FB has.
You cheated against me and Flamie (MwC) various times when you were in sCa in RRs and then finally admitted it.
After that, you can't possibly try and defend yourself, for all anyone knows, you could have been cheating the whole damn time.

History tends to repeat itself.

not even gonna try getting involved in the debate, but can anyone show me a TUS replay where somebody has cheated and won because of it? There are thousands of replays on the site, is there any proof of cheating ever being used to an advantage in a league game for an unfair win? I think people are making too big a deal about it... there is no problem with "cheaters" on TUS.... so far two people have been banned for cheating... 2 people.... thats not many games and its not yet been proven whether they even "cheated" or not for 100%

I sadly don't have the replays due to numerous hard drive changes/computer changes but I have been on the receiving end of a lot of RR clanners against someone who could play with xspeed without detection.
Without the use of the cheating, I for sure wouldn't have lost the clanners.

That person admitted to it after, but maybe not to the surprise of everyone.

I was just replying but my laptop overheated and decided to shut down!
As a result it will overlap a fair bit with what ropa said above

I do agree that roper requires skill, and it is clear that better ropers generally have a better record which backs your point up indeed, but I stand by the fact that there is a fair chunk of luck involved.

I can't buy the 50-0 in leagues because past leagues (WL, cl2k, etc) suffered from DoN.
This meant that losses can be cancelled out by wins.

In terms of luck, it is quite normal to see one player get harder/easier crates than the other.
The player with the harder crates must play better to win. They would have to rope faster/more efficiently to attack and therefore run the greater risk to falling. Luck causes this, and it is quite a factor.

TUS Discussion / Re: TRL wtf...
« on: August 13, 2011, 02:02 PM »
I find this thread very condescending towards Casso.

At the end of the day, asking someone twice (and as explained he was clearly busy) without luck is no grounds to base avoiding on.

I am in no way saying avoiding isn't a problem in general, but it is blown way out of proportion here. MI is right, it's too early to look into standings.

On top of that, you can only beat what is in front of you and he has clearly seized the opportunity for a quick start which in such a league (one scheme and specialists playing) is only a smart thing to do. If there is real grounds for evidence that he (and others, given that the whole league is accused 'TRL wtf...') has been avoiding then hands do need to be held up and changes made such as stricter limits, greater amount of different players you must play against.

But to single out and voice so strongly about the whole standings at this point is a bit extreme.
