Hey people!
First of all, I apologize. I shouldn't have let you guys down. My entire life has been a complete utter mess in the past weeks, months. I thought I had been working a lot before... I was wrong. Other personal issues also came on surface which lead to me plugging my entire computer out altogether and packing it away (did not happen in about 15 years before that). Wasn't eating, wasn't sleeping, bad stuff.
Anyway! Things are settled. Fires are out. Smokes dying away and out them steps out new Ray who finally has a healthy work-life balance, YAY!
And the fact is, that I owe many of you a good game of Elite, which I intend to play, in case of course that is okay with the organizers and I haven't been kicked out already. Here is a quick timetable for the next 1-2 weeks:
I'll try my best tomorrow to contact all of the players I owe a match to. As I schedule my games, I will update this timetable.

Hey lovely participants!
I think I am unable to finish this year's championship. The thing is, I realized why I quit playing leagues and left this game altogether in the first place: because I hate it. I am quite literally sick of this game, not to mention how awful it makes me feel that I spent more than 4000 hours playing (according to Xfire and relevant statistics) and I am still so horrible. I could have done two PhDs in that time.
Don't get me wrong - I love the fact that I can catch up and be nostalgic with so many of you that I loved playing with over the years. But I would much rather get on a plane, meet you and have a beer.
The whole point would be to have fun and right now, with this game, these matches, all I do is get really angry, disappointed and sad and the two hours of my week for that is really not worth it.
As of that, I am openly asking to leave the championship.

I cannot report my victory on the EAC site against Chicken23, because the system does not allow me. Most likely because of the deadline. I have attached the games to this post, the final result was 3-1.

I personally feel very bad about games like this. I know that this is a league, people are playing for points and rewards, and I do care about my overall ranking, which is sort of my legacy. But sometimes, you just want to play a nice game and this kind of behaviour and lack of sportsmanship makes that very difficult unfortunately.
It's okay to hate a scheme, I have quite a few on my assassination-list (looking at you, Hysteria), but just say it before we both pick, that's totally fine. But to call it "gay as f@#!" and then just quit thinking I'm happy with the points...
