The fixtures for an upcoming season have been announced. Completing certain round will unlock a possibility to start the following round. If a certain round is delayed by some unplayed matches the next round will be started as scheduled, but unplayed matches will HAVE to be completed until that next deadline. Inactive players will get reminders.

Kf / Official landscape settings discussion

ouro8oros suggested that it could be better to play league without background, so some hidden pixels wouldn't be a problem anymore. What do you think? Should we play the upcoming season with map previews visible for players and background off as a rule?
Other thing that I wanted to put under discussion is about landscape types used by certain players. I have in mind a complicated system that would assure that within whole season each player plays on as much landscape types as possible, but not favourizing any over any particular one. To achieve that there would be a special landscape-type drawing procedure, so not only terrain type wouldn't repeat within a match, but also each player would not repeat playing same terrain unless all played terrains are used for that player. Should this interesting system be implemented? (I will take care of drawing terrains correctly for every match if it will be in effect).

Kf / Invisibility in kaos (pros and cons)

I'm curious what do you pro players think of invisibility in kaos, please discuss a bit about it. Is it a way to balance sometimes unfair situations that may happen or is it unnesessary because it will add even more skill to the darkside tactics?

Official kaos league (season 2021) / Money Prize and other organisational infos

There is a money prize to be won in each official kaos league season. It is never fixed and depends on how high the level of competition is, what is more it is affected by the performance points system (explained already in season's thread). The more players attending the season, the more of them will get a prize.
When starting with 8 players only season winner (winner of bo17 final at the end of the season) will get the prize.
When starting with 9 to 11 players both winner and runner-up will get prizes.
When starting with 12 to 15 players each playoff contestant will get a prize (4 players).
When starting with 16 or more players event format will be changed to a tournament (with possible qualifiers when more than 16 players) and every player will get a prize gradually depending on a phase they lost at.
Once the season starts there will be an updated fixtures list along with replays of completed matches and rankings updated after each round of matches every week for all to see how it progresses.
Discord communication is also vital in arranging matches if you cannot find players on Wormnet.
In case of anything problematic or anything that may not have been explained in detail (or at all maybe) don't hesitate to contact me on discord (Vicious Devo#8772) or within suitable Kf threads.

If you ask me, then yea it's possible like that, I guess. The idea was to have 4+4=8 vs 4+4=8 worms as in 1v1. On the other hand when you put more worms there is a risk that at some point players will be forced to place worms manually which would change the setting of random placement.

Important update: we are testing a scheme still to check various scenarios. If it is confirmed that there tend to be more mobility available than expected - there might be Laser Sight re-introduced before the league-season starts. This change will be done to re-balance probabilities of other utilities (mostly to reduce Jetpack and Low Gravity probabilities).

This is an example schedule of projected fixtures in a scenario if these 10 players will play this season of kaos league.
The idea is to play AT LEAST 1 match per player during each week (deadlines for each round of matches are the dates in brackets), but once each round is FULLY completed the next group of matches can immediately follow without having to wait for a timerange in brackets. So basically if all players will be very active we will be able to play a season faster (of course if more players will join this will be extended and revised to fit new reasonable deadlines).
The schedule below allows perfect and gradual activity with each player obliged to play only 1 match per week.
