Tech Support / Re: Game stutters on Windows 10
« on: May 13, 2020, 08:59 PM »
"slutter" is a rather vague term. I don't see any more info I can work with, so I'll go with standard suggestions of changing graphics renderer (usually you want Direct3D 9) and trying out different vertical synchronization modes. Main Menu -> Options -> Advanced -> Graphics

Not that vague actually... There aren't any other terms to describe it. It's a lag that happens independently from offline or online play. Perhaps micro-stuttering is a more correct terminology. I'll try your suggestions though.

Try these settings. They may get you rid of stutters.
Although, I get 1-2 mini freezes per game but got used to it by now. Sucks when it happens during rope turn tho.

Yeah it seems way better now. The main menu gave me epilepsy since the graphical effects are ridiculously faster now, but besides that I think I've noticed quite some difference. Thanks.

Allow WA use only one CPU core. This helped some people already, inc. me.

Care to explain how you do that? I've noticed that the CPU gets way too high for a game like this, and maybe stuff like that can do the trick besides helping with the original issue. Do you use third-party softwares to do that or it's some kind of "simpler" process?

Tech Support / Game stutters on Windows 10
« on: May 11, 2020, 02:55 AM »
I got a new gear lately, and WA seems to be the only game affected by this problem...

I know this title is old and all, but somehow it's funny that a bulky PC, W7, integrated graphics and other obsolete components managed to do a better work than my current PC (well it's not that weird actually, but still)... That's beside the point; I was wondering if there's a way around this, because these stutters are very frequent both online and offline, and of course that's a big problem no matter the scheme. That's pretty much the reason why I'm not playing anymore, and it's a shame.

Thanks for your attention.

Based, but weed and alcohol is way better and less harmful for you. And it's the best combined with good ol' Worms, so I would suggest that buddy.

Leagues Games Comments / Game #225014, reported by Rafka

You didn't even tell me what all of that façade meant, that was pretty cheap of you. I told you in lobby that I wanted to play just for fun (especially because BO1 is very, very luck-driven anyway... And I was in a odd situation irl too, with my phone constantly ringing and playing while talking is not an easy task to manage); I always thought that TUS just meant the Intermediate scheme downloaded from here (I mean, TUS IS the name of the website) and not tourney / league. And I don't think it goes without saying, since it's only logic from an external point of view to see this exactly that way. Perhaps this thing was my fault, but I'm not exactly sure, I would say it was just a miscomprehension. So yeah, I don't think I played unfairly if the whole match had a sketchy premise to begin with (in fact, if we had to do things correctly, the match would've been invalid from the start even if all the things I just stated were in some way or another nullified, just because you forgot to put the right scheme. It seems like I'm strawmanning for this one, but if you think about it having crates around the map that you can't touch are even worse than instant mines, like if you use a propeller on a worm and the crate makes it bounce back so you renounce to a potential death that would've made a difference. Now you realize it is in fact, a huge problem). Just wanted to clarify some things. Best of luck and have a nice day.

There is actually a Whatsapp group with hundreds of wormers in it, ask Sensei or GOOMbapatrol they both have a group with wormers.

I guess Facebook is too private for a lot of people.
Are you implying that a telephone number is less private than a Facebook profile? lol.
By the way a lot of conspiracy theorists in this thread, damn. It's not like all this stuff is unthinkable, but come on... Lighten up a little.

Gaming Central / Re: Game suggestions?

Are there any 'must have' PC games out nowadays?

I'm always looking for something to play but can never find anything interesting. For the record, I'm not into 'battle arena' type games, the vast majority of first-person shooters, most MMORPG's, sports titles (except racing), etc.

What is good nowadays? I want to play something new but every time someone suggests something to me IRL it looks dumb as f@#!.

Hotline Miami; both the first one and the second one. Addicting gameplay (when you get the gist of it), memorable soundtrack, retro arcade feel, apparently gratuitous violence and a plot that will literally blow up your mind.

Worms Ultimate Mayhem. There's also the 3D's campaign on it.
