Split way were perfect to do MF Runs (they baalrun ? You MF meanwhile: 8 players -> better drops).
Split way allowed rush (even if you still can do it, by hosting 1 game for each acts).
Once you had finished an act, you could go anywhere you wanted, that's just normal and much better.

About the stats, I'm sorry but a RPG must retains on stat building, so people can make their own build and the best (build,skill) combination wins.
Removing stats has just been made so retarded people can play the game (yeah, like they do on every games, it's more and more easy so they can sell to more people).

I'm playing a Mage atm (as always) and yeah I hurt but:
- I run out of mana so fast and I can't put my stats in it.
- I'm getting killed in 1 single hit against Diablo low hp, no way to avoid that fact (no more mana shield, since no mana).
And can't put stats in vitality.
- No more "infinite" teleport, now there's a huge cd (f@#! you WoW): what's the point from a Hack & Slash ?

And I won't talk about synergies. They left it.
No more skill building either, you just click on what you earnt (so cooooll !).

Every champions have the same stats need: dmg and ias.
Where is the fcr, fhr, etc.. ?
Why reducing the number of champions by making 1 to 2 ?
Druid and Mage are now sorcerer.
Assa & Amazon are DH.
Etc..

Now, I can't choose the game I want to join: totally sucks.
I'm falling so often in newbie games..
And no more World Trade Centers.

If I'm doing another quest, I can't get back to the one I was doing except by starting to zero.

Max players per game is 4: Wow ! Now they reduce the number of players allowed in one game, first time I see this.

The only good points from D3 are (don't expect so much, they are few compared to bad points):
- No more dupe runes/items.
- You can earn money from the game (without using a tierce website).

I can't believe you like D3, especially after having played D2.
Those games are totally different, and D3 shouldn't be called a Diablo.
