So the conclusion is that 1x enter jump is better using 1 leg and 1x backspace jump using 2 legs?

Relax guys, it's been just a 1-2 days since sing ups have been closed. People will eventually answer your call. And since this cup became rather popular I'd suggest organizing games in group phase via private messages.

Anyway, I assume you knew about asian versions (Chinese and Korean I thjink) of worms armageddon and/or wwp. I can't recall names. These titles had *milions* of online gamers at some point of time, real money game rooms and stuff. I tried it many years ago, joined one game and people played rope schemes. Unfortunately lags were so huge that it was impossible to play or watch.
Few others also tried that (KRD if I recall correctly) and even brought few people to our wormnet for some time.

Accelerator - shorten rope (up arrow)
Break - exten rope (down arrow)
Wheel - left and right arrow, I guess thats obvious

Space is tricky, you press horn button on the wheel, but 1st gear gives one tap, 2nd gear 2 taps and so on.

Yes Sqwrl, that allows you to pass through other worm blocking your way without actually knocking it and heating stuff under your oponent's cellar :). It's a rare situation however.
