What was GC? Clan for polaks? I can see that Face was in GC too from a replay.
Here's for the particulary interested a folder of games and maps that RopeR/Morgoth has had stored on a harddisk. The maps are mostly RR from well known players, but some of the maps are modified as far back as in 2002, so there might be a hidden treasure or two, I don't know.. AirGuitar's colourmaps should be popular for the male, straight wormer ;P

Chuvash-Crazy 75-25% in schedule/pred.game? What a low blow!! Chuvash beats me 3 out of 4 times? OKay... Nothing against you chuvash, but those numbers are taken out of the sky. I feel offended by that prediction.. He has performed very well against good opponents so far, but it seems like people are blinded by those results. Chuvash performs above his own level when facing strong opponents, obviously. I'd say me and chuvash are quite equal skillwise, it's a 50/50 match-up. He has a little advantage because of the knowledge all the intermediate has given him. We both have a winning percent of 59% in TEL (actually mine is 0.03% higher then his), we are 7-5 heads up adv me. My prediction: game goes through a five-set game and it's a coin flip who wins.
Random, you are 15 points behind SPW, Dulek & co, here is your chance to catch up with them. Take a "huge risk" and predict me as winner. There is big value in chosing me instead of chuvash anyways. That's my point about this, it's not my egoism, it's just plain wrong percentage and it gives an incorrect image of the probability. Even worse is Almog vs lales, which says 100% for Almog. Yeaaaaaaa right. My credibility is low tho as I've been the worst predicter this year

On a more serious note though, it's sad to see so much drama, fight, selfish behavior and what not during WO. I don't believe it's one, two, or ten persons fault, it's something that we are all fault in. Ofcourse, some players are worse then others, but that will always be the case. Banning them works on a short-term period but not in the long run. I think I wrote a similar post after last years olympics, where I gave my opinion on why we're having these tournaments in the first place. What's the purpose of having such a large group of tournaments every summer and winter?
Why has FFie been holding this event for the past 10 years? Such voluntary work that goes on for such a long period of time has always a strong passion and will behind it. I can't speak for her, but while all she has ever done is giving of herself, I feel we give little, if not nothing, back in return. Last years mess as an example. WO is such a big part of WA's history, but I can't really see how, or more importantly why, it should continue to be held.
I don't know how many more chances we'll get, but something has to change... And it has to come from the community. I can't remember that there was so much ignorance and bullshit before. I want to say everything was so much better before, it's such an easy way out of the issue, just staying completely out of it, but it's not a good one. What can we do?

for me, the pairings is not the problem. the problem is I now go to bed in 6:00 and get up in around 14:30 because all of my favorite roping tourneys are hosted by chileans at 4:00, 5:00 nights, while there's almost nothing like this in the daytime, rarely even evenings. this killed my sleep, but np. keep playing with yourselves then.
btw guys I think we should advertise WA in asia. I mean, we would have the same people density 24/7, without being so few in the mornings.
Haha Steps, you're crazy man. I like you!! Let's team up for the 2v2 Roper and RR tournaments in the winter edition? Atleast the chileans are hosting tournaments, it's in their timezone, can't really blame them.. If Incog wins this year, he will actually be very close to Random as the best player of all time in WO. Random has 3 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze, Incog will have 2 golds, 2 silver and 2 bronze ^^

Slender? First time I hear that word here.. But you are more slender then camelo, redi
I dunno avi, the average height in Norway is higher then in the U.S. But HHC, Darkone & co beats us all with an average height of 6 feet and 0.85 inches (males). I don't really get any looks because of my height, usually it's from kids if so. So yea, maybe parents should grab em xD

A little heads up! I'm leaving for a vacation on 6th September, early morning and I will be unavailable until 12th September, which means that Crazy and me should play until Thursday next week, if it is possible on your end!
Yea, when is the best time for you then? Monday evening?

I was in wwPd as well with Senator, i think the clan is older then ten years.. DJKris was our leader, we had Prodigy, AIF, Brux, RopeR and some more members. We had a tough time playing against clans like dwi, mash, hos, eq, susuii, iwc, ckc, top, we lost all games that we played. Literally, all games
But yea, nice to see him back again, he's a really nice guy like you said avi

Crazy and Dulek have been a disappointment for me I must say, of course I don't know their activity status really and I'm not judging by any means, that's just how it goes in this championship, but their positions are quite surprising to me.
HHC and chuvash are doing great on the other hand, good job from them. Weird how only a few moves, grenades, girders can turn the whole standings around, I could have won against Free and Crash too and should have done better against HHC, although he's in a great form. That would put me in like 9th or 10th position right now. Oh well.
I don't know Ray. I have two points after seven rounds, last year I had four points after seven rounds. I'm a slow starter man
