Its ridiculous, but I'm on the trick races so frustration is something I'm well familiar with :p

Its so annoying though that I'm so inconsistent and because I get excited with good turns I get even more so in the last parts of maps and end up screwing it -.-

Its safe to say that when u do a 43" (awesome for me) after 2 hours and your worm finishes on the pole of the finish line, then u can kill yourself haha...bollocks...

Haha,t Stat. there's always  place for improvement but I decided I'll leave it there, some difficult tricks were done in first try (like d.dragon) and they make up for 3-4 other slower ones, but in the last I was so tense I kept doing outlaws haha...so embarassing

its like every sport with judges, even if u have a veeeerrry well-defined system of grading 10% is the judge's personal opinion. SO imagine in roping that is so free in space and lack of structure...

We can all agree its simply impossible to have totally subjective grades and could perhaps have 2 judges next time, BUT:

I'm very serious about the "small fall" thing. I think that as long as flow is maintained and chute barely opens the judge should help by allowing no point reduction, this way speed and risk is encouraged.

Yeh but I was only talking strictly in "1rst-and-2nd" comparison

EDIT: I apologise for not making my "criticism" more constructive but I'll try now: given that the more impressive bits (landing on small edge for example) were done by both, and the general skill level looked equal, I was left with the feeling that it was 1 turn that was slightly faster in speed (Mablak's) and 1 that had a bit more variety and looked prettier (Shady's)

I'm not trying to change anyone's decision, this is a discussion  

and yes, I do think Stat's run is eaaaaaasily better than KRD's, that little near-fall at the end cannot possibly account for the placement. I can see your point Franz but simply by comparing the 2 runs they would be the other way around in my list and I say this because one of the most important thing in warmer like this is flow and in this case the flow didnt stop since he roped straight back so grading down for that is a bit silly if this is the way freestyle is usually graded.

I'm not measuring using points but by simply comparing 1 turn with the other.

Again, remember that no one should be offended by this, I'm simply saying an opinion. We all thank franz because hosting and grading such contest is never easy

Imo Shady's best turn is better than Mablak's (no offence to anyone ), I know its subjective but I strongly feel Shady's turn has the edge over the other one

EDIT: no patience needed, made this in 6th try tonight a couple of tricks are a bit lame but that was from tension of going so fast at start

lol, a friend checked my run to see time, he must've messed up  I'll give it a good go when I can, the tricks are easy when i learn them, only d.dragon is kinda weird for me

I've made a respectable (for non-ttrr'ist) 46" but since I cant watch replays due to a worms failure, I dont know where in the replay it is so I cant post it

Just dropping in to say that the challenge is going on normally now but because I'm re-installing (again) worms, I'm having some technical difficulties atm. That shouldnt be stopping anyone from posting their times since I'll be checking your replays asap.
